Chapter 54 - Overprotective

"Who?." I asked her hoping that she wouldn't say it was him.

"Edward Jones..." She told me gesturing for me to sit with her in the chair.

"Who is Edward Jones?." I asked her sitting down.

"Remember the guy that saved me?." She asked me.

"Yes." I remembered the driver saying more times than necessary about a guy who saved the both of them.

"He was the one at the counter, you saw him. He was standing with the orange haired girl." She said.

" Is that why you were staring at him, because he saved you?." I asked her.

" Yes." 

 I was relieved because she was not looking at him because she thought he was attractive, she was looking at him because he had saved her. 

I mentally slapped myself for being selfish. 

Suddenly my mind replayed the information the men had given me.
