Shardu's ears perked up. Despite being a cat, Shardu's senses are quite similar to a dog combined with a cat's senses, making Shardu quite a good combination of both animals. And because Shardu was entrusted with an important task, Shardu is always on guard despite looking asleep.
This little cat already made an exception for the Wandering Merchant who only comes once in a while, the goddess who lives on the stream, and the Feys who live near the stream with the addition of the little pixie in the mix. However, the rest of that will be a different story. Anyone else who is not part of the farm and is not included in the people who are allowed to go into the farm is going to be unwelcome.
And right now, Shardu detects a presence currently looming on the gate. Shardu still didn't spring up to the action as the figure is still currently standing on the gate. However, Shardu is already getting ready in case the person behind the gates would then try to breach inside.
