I flopped onto the ground with an exhausted sigh as I deactivated my Arcane Armor, stretching my arms up before lifting my gaze as footsteps echoed out, as Aura and Estella walked over.
"It's finally over...we won," I remarked wearily.
"At this point, I don't think you can deny the title of Acheron Island's hero anymore," Replied Estella with a wry smile.
"I mean, it's not like I did this alone. It wouldn't have been possible if...if Arkiela hadn't weakened him before we got here," I responded in a somber, quiet tone, before adding, "Not to mention you two...your attacks wore him down and slowed down his regeneration significantly, there's no way I could've exposed his Core I'd it wasn't for that."
"A part of me keeps expecting to see her pop out and reveal that she's fine, after all. But it seems...she's really gone," Spoke up Aura with a slight sniff, as she ran her hand across her eyes.
