Richmond left his office around noon to pick up his fiancee at a photo shoot studio, where she was posing for a fashion magazine. They were supposed to do a last-minute shopping together at one of the biggest jewellery shops in Westler city.
Richmond ordered an antique diamond necklace, which he discovered on a shopping sight necklace a few days ago. He wanted Jasmine to see it before it was packaged as a suitable birthday gift for her mother, Mrs Malcolm.
Jasmine had just finished the photo shoot and was changing into her clothes when she was informed that Richmond was waiting for her at the reception.
"Thank you, Barbra." Jasmine forced a smile on her cheek even though it didn't get to her heart. She had been in a terrible mood ever since she concluded Richmond was cheating on her with a shameless divorcee.
