Chapter 65 - Bad Timing

Lola clenched her fist at the mention of her husband and his family. If she could, she would erase their names and memories permanently from my heart. Her riled gaze shifted to the treated bruise mark sustained on her right wrist due to Rosemary bone-crunching grip, the previous evening. Even her scalp still felt a tiny bit sore from the hair pulling.

"I am a hundred percent certain that this whole change was a result of yesterday's encounter with Rosemary. Brian knew that I was recuperating and he agreed to extend this divorce final proceeding until three days. I haven't even gone through the divorce papers or signed it. And now, he wants me to cancel all my engagements for the day for some sick reasons! How ludicrous!"

"I totally agree with you." Imelda sighed at Lola's unhappy state.
