Richmond leaned back on his seat and closed his eyes. He hadn't spoken about Lizzy ever since her heart wrenching burial ceremony at the graveside. The thought of her still made his heart bleed. But for the sake of Lola, he was ready to open up old wounds.
His thoughts drifted to the first time he met Lizzy and a warm smile framed his lips. This prompted him to begin his happy-sad story with a patiently listening Lola.
"Back in those days when I was still at high school, there was this pretty young girl that joined us in our final year classes. Her name was Lizzy. She was a tech wizard and a number expert. Being a new student, she was shy, quiet, and always kept to herself. The only time anyone got to hear her voice in class was when a question was asked. No matter how difficult the question was, Lizzy would always get it right."
"Hmm....she must be really smart," Lola noted calmly.
