The investigating officer was taken aback by Chelsea's discourtesy and gall. He was expecting her to shamefully confess to her crime of destroying another woman's happy home rather than making a fuss.
Taking a breath to stifle the anger taking shape in his thoughts, Officer Derek spoke calmly.
"Miss Chelsea, I'm well aware that you work in a law firm and I'm certain you know your right. You can be rest assured that nothing is going to happen to you or your pregnancy under my watch."
"That's a relief," Chelsea hissed.
Officer Derek's forehead furrowed but he continued speaking.
"However, you and I know that you're lying about the pains and the alleged beating. We've seen video evidence that countered all your assertions and indicted you for all the charges levied against you. It will be in your own interest for you to cooperate with us or we can as well hand you over to the court and allow them to determine your fate." The officer pointed out.
