Following quietly behind Lola, Princess Leia was as obedient as a needle to a pole. She felt humiliated and abandoned to her own fate by the same people who promised to stand behind her.
This made her piqued at everyone involved in the plot. None of them could even challenge the crown Princess after all their bragging. She was so sure that the punishment from the king would have been severe if Lola hadn't spoken in her favour.
'But why would she do that after what I said to tarnish her image?' Princess Leia pondered. She was expecting Lola to break down in tears and condemn her like her grandparents.
'Oh, how I wish I didn't say anything. I've never seen the Queen this angry.'
Fresh tears well up in Princess Leia's eyes as they slowly approached the king's quarters.
