Seated inside an air-conditioned car, parked inside a private hanger, Ramsey and Nancy Forde anxiously waited for their son to show up. They were aesthetic and at the same time terrified about the escape plan.
The private jet for his escape had been fueled, the pilot had been heavily paid and most of his favourite stuff had been assembled inside the jet. All Ian had to do was show up for his comfortable trip to an unknown destination.
Although his parents had been advised by the chief warden against showing up at the departure location, Ramsey and Nancy still risked it. They were eager to see their only son finally free and bid him goodbye.
They arrived at the airport around 9:00 PM and patiently waited till 11:00 PM.
The warden had assured them that the prison break would be initiated by an hour before midnight and Ian would arrive at the private hanger before midnight.
