Ramsey's initial intentions of going over to Lola to give her a warm hug vanished into thin air. All he could say from a respectful distance and in a slightly jittery voice was,
"It's so good to see you, Lola."
"The feeling is not mutual, Mr Forde," Lola said, maintaining her plastered smile.
Unlike before, when Lola treated the chairman like a God, at the moment, all she felt for him and his family was outright disgust. Especially after the ugly incident that took place at the hospital.
"I only came here because I have great respect for the matriarch. So if you don't mind, I would like to see her briefly and be on my way." Lola's chilly voice was in contrast to her smiles.
"I...I... I'm sorry." Ramsey stuttered.
Ezra clenched his fist, ready to deliver justice for his insulted princess if the mature man failed to cooperate with her simple demands.
