A few hours earlier...
Back at Lola's home, Patrick, who had stepped out a few minutes before Richmond left the house was shocked when he returned and found Imelda dashing out of the house like a crazy person. She had a look of woe, clearly displayed on her swollen, reddened eyes as she ran up to him, almost screaming in terror.
"I think I just killed him."
"Killed him!" Patrick was confused at first. The only person who was in Lola's house at the time he left for the car wash and to have his late lunch/dinner, was Richmond.
But currently, Richmond's car was not within the premises, except the latest edition of a black tinted Lincoln Navigator, which was packed on the other side of the road, a few blocks from Lola's home.
"Shit!"
It finally dawned on Patrick that the 'him' Imelda could be referring to was Ian. He ran into the house and was horrified by the sight before him.
