Rosemary was in the kitchen trying to make a simple dinner for herself and her daughter when her phone started ringing.
Lowering the heat of the gas and cleaning her wet hands with the kitchen napkin, she picked up her phone to check the caller ID.
"So, I still exist in some people's contact." Chuckling bitterly, she let out a long hissing sound and tossed her phone aside.
Without giving it a second thought, she went back to the food she was cooking while the phone kept on ringing.
After almost five missed calls, the phone stopped ringing.
A few seconds later, Clara rushed into the kitchen shouting, "Mum! Mum..."
"What is it?" Rosemary snapped, transferring her aggression to her youngest child.
Clara was stunned. "Did I do something wrong?"
Rosemary sighed. "No, my dear. You didn't do anything wrong. It's your foolish brother who has been calling my phone after abandoning me for almost three days."
