"Let go of me, you crazy lunatic! You're hurting me!" Lola screamed, greatly shaken and terrified by Ian's monstrous snarls and his painful grip.
All her swirls and futile screams fell on deaf ears as Ian tightened his hold on her shoulder with no intention of letting her go that easily. He was panting like a wounded beast about to devour its prey.
"Do you think sending that bloody court restraining order, would stop me from getting what I want? Do you think because I've been going easy on you, sending you flowers and saying, I'm sorry, gives you the nerves to challenge me?" Ian shook Lola vigorously, forgetting that she was pregnant and needed to be handled gently.
"Drop dead, Ian! You hear me, drop dead?" Lola cried out in pain. For a moment, she regretted sending Richmond away. She became visibly afraid of the things Ian could possibly do to her out of spite.
