It has been over four days since Brian gave Chelsea his hard earned money, to help him get back his job and have Lola fired. And within this short, yet long waiting period, Brian's enviable lifestyle took a dramatic turn for the worst.

After meeting with Richmond's sophisticated fiancee and tarnishing Lola's image, Brian became very optimistic that Lola was a goner.
Even when Chelsea came back to him, asking for extra money to fine tune her almost successful plans, he happily gave it to her without raising an eyebrow.
However, when any member of his family came up to him, seeking financial aid, the answer was always the same.
"I don't have any money to give anyone."
Even though his selfish attitude slowly eroded the loving bond he shared with his family members, Brian cared less.
To kill time and overcome the boredom of waiting to get back his job, he took to drinking in a friendly neighbourhood pub.
