"I hope so," Genevieve muttered under her breath.
"What did you just say?" Carol glowered at her niece, ready to give her a dirty slap if she coughed out any rubbish.
"I said I'm sorry, aunty." Genevieve suppressed a chuckle at her aunty's amusingly dramatic behavior.
The sound of a ringing phone drowned the tense atmosphere as Carol scurried over to the couch where she kept her mobile phone.
"Oh thank goodness! It's Richmond!" Carol's face lit in temporal happiness.
"Hurray!" Genevieve celebrated with a short dance earning her a glare from her aunty. She stared with happiness as Carol swiped the receive button and put the phone on speaker mode.
"Richie! Where have you been all this while? Why weren't you taking my calls? Is this what you promised me some hours ago? Do you have any idea what the time is?"
