The following morning, Lola arrived at work looking smart in her navy blue skirt suit, paired with matching stiletto heels and handbag. She wore minimal make-up as usual and maintained her friendly aura
"Good morning," she exchanged pleasantries with her colleagues before going into her office and settling down on her desk. Turning on her computer device, she dived straight to her work and the assignment given to her by the CEO.
By 11: 00 AM, she got a call from the CEO, instructing her to come down to his private car park, where he was already waiting for her.
Picking up her handbag and the document that the CEO had asked her to work on, she left the office just in time, before the chairman's wife arrived.
"Good day, Miss Lola," Owen smiled politely as she approached him.
"Good day to you, Mr Owen and thanks." She returned his smile while staring ahead at the stationed black-tinted Rolls Royce ghost black.
