"Why do you yield to me nowadays? You're acting like this relationship is not longer something that happened to you but something that you want, " Jasmine's voice echoed. " You used to be afraid of me, you'd shiver every time I come close to you but these days you take the initiative with me. Why?"
"I care about you, I will always be here for you, " he assured her while running his fingers through her hair. She smiled and crawled up on his lap and let him hold her.

Jacob decided to host the wake at the chapel. Family and friends were invited for viewing of the body.
A lot of preparations had been put in place by the Kincade and Leerstrom family to mourn Jasmine. The vigil was hosted by the two families, each taking turns tending to the preparations and guests.
