It was a quiet, ordinary breakfast. Everyone looking clean, bathed and ready to face the day. Eating in silence whilst ignoring the drama at the door when welcoming Raul in the house.
Aryanna hurried with breakfast and exited the house to head to the office. It was her first day of work and she wished to make a good second impression and it gave a suitable distraction to the troubles at home.
The car Sebastian assigned to her waited outside. The driver waited outside and held the door open for her. "Good morning, Ray," she hollered at him cheerfully.
"Good morning, ma'am."
Aryanna got in, to her surprise, Jasmine was already seated in the car on the seat besides hers. A twinge of panic washed over Aryanna at the sight of her cold, heartless and bitter sister-in-law.
"Jasmine!"
"I have a gift for you. I hope you don't mind a quick stop before we head to the office," Jasmine let out lazily without looking up at Aryanna.
