Aryanna's chest tightened, as though was gripping tightly. Angry tears building up in her eyes. No one believed her, they couldn't see the truth in her words and blamed her unnecessarily.
"How could you? I trusted you, Aryanna," Jalana cried, Henifer consoled her. "This behavior is very disappointing, " she let out.
Her heart felt like it was being ripped out of her chest. Hearing her mother-in-law say that stung her the vulnerable parts of her heart.
Aryanna stood still and let them vent their frustrations. All the evidence was against her and they were right to be upset. Even though she was innocent, she quietly tolerated their anger.
"Are we seriously going to allow her to look for her birth mother?" Jalana inquired.
