"Aryanna!" she barked. Aryanna flinched inside the room. "Come out and tell me how I've wronged you for you to hurt me like this!" she shouted at the top of her lungs.
Aryanna's fingers lingered on the door knob, scared to step out and face Jalana. She wracked her brain for any occurrence that might've offended her, nothing came to thought.
"Jalana, why are you screaming so loudly at this time of the night?" Henifer's voice could be heard through the tiled corridors.
"Mom!" Jalana broke down in tears once she spotted her mother. She rushed into her mother's arms and burst into tears, her body shuddering and quivering as the fight from the pool coursed through her body.
Henifer rubbed her back lovingly and waited for her to catch her breath. Her eyes shooting back forth between Aryanna's and Sebastian's door in worry.
"What's wrong, dear?"
