"How are you feeling now? I hope the wound doesn't hurt too much," Sebastian's voice was quite and controlled as he tended to Leah's wound.
"I have endured worse, this is nothing. I do apologize for the inconvenience I caused by coming here. I didn't mean to startle anyone by my presence," she said pleasantly in a composed tone.
Sebastian scoffed. He knew better than to believe her beautiful lies. He wasn't born yesterday as not to realize Leah's purpose for coming to his house is part of her goal to ruin Aryanna's life. Sebastian didn't voice his thoughts and disinfected the wound with surgical spirit and a clean cotton wool.
The wound was another motivation, driving Leah to seek Aryanna's doom. Sebastian figured helping Leah might in some ease her pain and hoped his kindness might make flowers grow in void that was the saddest parts of her.
No one deserved to be mistreated for mistakes they had no part in. "Aryanna is a victim too," he let out.
