"You could say that," she started to say. "You see, one of the complications the doctor warned about of the second surgery is that there was a ninety five percent chance that Jasmine will lose her memories permanently."

"A risk I was willing to take if it meant my daughter lives and I gave consent for the surgery."

Ander became speechless. Lovi waltz into his life and dropped one cold news after another with no hesitation what so ever. Her composure when dealing with a trying matter such as Jasmine's situation stunned him. However, he found the resemblance to Jasmine to be remarkable.
"Jasmine has been in and out of sleep for days after the surgery. She's forgotten the past and the only thing she remembers is you," Lovi informed. "She's been asking for you and that's why you are here."
"And if she didn't ask for me?"
"I would've have let you mourn that girl and bury her thinking she's Jasmine," she coldly said.
