The loud sounds of bells tolling snapped Jasmine back to her senses. She blinked her eyes, startled by the sound, lowered her gaze to allow her eyes adjust to the scorching sun.
The fresh red soil under her feet was a fact too much for her to bear. Jasmine stared intently at her watch, it was already noon. Several hours had gone by since breakfast, the last thing that she recalled was putting on her shoes with the intention of going to see Ander.
Tears welled up in her eyes as her lips quivered. She was scared out of her wits.She stood aghast with her eyes popping out of their sockets as she shivered like a blade of grass on a windy day.
Her heart throbbed exotically, threatening to break free from its cage. Jasmine looked around, confused and scared. She had no clue where she was or how she got there.
