Reina took out her gun and started looking around the area, but it was only darkness; her eyes could barely make out the shape of trees.
The area was very silent, increasing her alert even more.
Reina knew this meant a predator was nearby; otherwise, she should have been able to hear the noise of small animals.
The sound of her footsteps was the only music in her ears when suddenly she felt something coming from her side.
She turned her body, and BANG! BANG! BANG!
She fired three times, but the shadow was very fast; all her shots missed.
CRACK! She then felt like a sledgehammer had hit her from the side, launching her body into the air as the gun in her hand was thrown away.
"KYaaaaa!" She screamed.
Reina could feel intense pain in her dangling hand; she was sure the bone was broken.
Without wasting any time, she gritted her teeth and started running away.
