Chapter 50 - Mara's Past

Sabrina laments her fate; if not for Malacai. she would still live comfortably, swimming in money given by her victim.

But even though that money is gone now, Mara took it all.

If she could go back in time, she would avoid him like the plague, but it was too late now; her fate was sealed. 

"Why would he let you live anyway? I've heard what you did to the Master. From what I know of him, he should have killed you."

Sabrina gritted her teeth and ignored Emma. Seeing this, Emma smirked, stood up, and walked closer to Sabrina.

Splash! 

Sabrina felt a cold, thick, sugary liquid covering her hair and face. 

She looked up at Emma, her face ashen with anger, but she didn't dare lash out.

On the way to Emma, Mara said with a cold smile, "I look forward for you to resist; that way, you can enjoy a better life."

Her smile sent a shiver through her spine.
