Chapter 14 - I Miscalculated

They soon reached the gate, guarded by two muscular security guards.

"Halt! This is private property," one of the muscular guards raised his hand.

It had only been a few hours after the incident.

Observing the calm state of the mansion, Malacai gambled that no one knew what had happened yet.

He speculated that the police would have closed down the news until they had a story prepared for the public.

Malacai, with a neutral face, answered, "Boss Darius ordered me to come to take some merchandise."

He then pointed to Nerissa, who was walking behind him. "You all should know her, right? We have a transaction to be completed."

The guard looked Nerissa up and down, recognizing who she was.

Malacai had once overheard Darius planning to take over another gang.

From the many calls Darius made, Malacai was sure the security guards and the rest of the staff had been briefed by him.

Nerissa felt awkward with how Malacai handled the situation; she didn't know where his confidence came from.

She doesn't know that even under heavy punches or while lying on the floor, Malacai always used his ears to hear anything they talked about.

He never gave up on taking revenge, knowing any information could be useful later on.

In fact, he did have a plan for the graduation party, but he gained his power earlier.

If not for this, he doubted that Nerissa would be alive, and even his own survival was questionable.

The security guards looked at each other.

After a moment, they nodded. One of them started contacting someone, while the other began opening the gate.

"I have contacted the head butler. You can give him the details inside."

Malacai nodded and started walking past the garden.

He appeared to be enjoying the view, but in reality, he was counting how many people were around.

The only people he saw moving were security guards. A quick count told Malacai there were at least 12 people in the area.

'Why does he need such security? I doubt it's because of gang activity. Even Nerissa doesn't have any extra countermeasures,' he thought.

Passing by a marble fountain, a middle-aged woman with green hair and red eyes greeted them.

She was wearing a black tailcoat, the usual attire for a butler.

Despite her age, she still looked charming, her body curvy, with voluptuous breasts that were larger than Nerissa's.

She performed a courteous bow. "How may I assist you, Ms. Nerissa, and Mr...?"

The woman looked at Malacai, only to shudder the next second, surprised by Malacai's purple eyes.

The eyes gave her a bad feeling, but she was confident the boy and girl in front of her couldn't do anything harmful.

"You look exhausted, Mam. You should not talk. Just keep your usual expression and guide us where we need to go. For now, show us to Darius's room."

Fear quickly gripped her heart as she felt she had lost control over her body.

The woman's body started moving, guiding Malacai and Nerissa inside.

The other security, who saw the interaction, dropped their guard and then returned to their duty.

As she walked, many thoughts ran through the woman's mind. Her fear quickly disappeared as she assessed the situation calmly.

They reached Darius's room. The butler opened it, revealing the interior.

The room was large, almost the same size as Nerissa's entire apartment, and filled with luxurious items.

But Malacai didn't care about this. Instead, he stared deeply into the butler's eyes.

Malacai frowned; no normal person would stay calm in her situation.

Malacai then gave her a command, "Close the door, wait here, and make sure no one disturbs us."

Nerissa pulled his clothes. "Malacai, we should finish our task quickly."

She didn't feel calm at all in the situation.

Seeing her fidgeting, Malacai smiled, finding it amusing that she was afraid.

The reason Nerissa was afraid was that she feared something might go wrong.

This was different from the school area. If Malacai started another massacre here, she was sure it would blow up in the public.

She and her mother would be pulled into the spotlight, something she didn't want to happen.

Malacai looked around the room and started opening doors. The first one revealed a luxurious, modern bathroom.

He then went to another door. As he opened it, Malacai saw four cages. Inside, there were four naked women; two of them looked lifeless.

One had defiant eyes, while the other kept moaning like a dog in heat.

He could see many empty syringes thrown on the floor.

The woman in the heat had both her hands tied up, her waist wiggling as a vibrator was inside her.

But Malacai didn't recognize her.

Instead, his eyes were drawn to one of the lifeless women, her long black hair disheveled, her brown eyes looking emptily at the ground.

Malacai could see that each cage had a bowl, water bottle, and toilet. There were also jet showers inside.

The women here were really treated like dogs by Darius.

Walking closer to Ms. Reina's cage, he saw her white skin was filled with bruises and some bite marks.

She was sitting on the floor mattress, her hands on her knees, not bothering to hide her cleanly shaved pussy.

Nerissa looked in from the front of the door, her hands over her mouth.

Her eyes flickered with rage; what she saw triggered her old scars.

She fidgeted for a while and then asked, "Malacai, can we free the others too?"

Malacai raised his finger, signaling her to be quiet.

Nerissa closed her lips.

Malacai's eyes never left Ms. Reina. They flickered with hate and rage.

He counted every single bruise on her body and compared it to what he had done to Darius.

He shook his head and mumbled, "I miscalculated. I should have kept Darius alive and tortured him for a few more days."

Ms. Reina remained downcast as if she hadn't heard anything.

The cage was not locked, but each woman had a collar chain around their neck, Making sure they could not go further than the cage area.
