In the evening, in a city nestled between mountains and dense forests, inside a rather large house, a group of teenagers were seen celebrating something. They were all focused on one person in particular, standing at 180cm/5'9 tall. His handsome face, with black eyes and elegant black hair that gave him a stern yet appealing look, combined with slightly tan skin and an athletic swimmer's physique, made him quite popular among his peers.
His name was Radanta Ken, or simply Radanta as people called him. The bustle tonight was because Radanta, the center of attention, was celebrating his 18th birthday.
Perhaps due to his popularity, many people attended, mostly girls, though there were boys there too, either by invitation or out of curiosity to test their luck in the crowd.
Throughout the night, they enjoyed the party, and Radanta didn't mind at all; in fact, he was thrilled to laugh with his friends and acquaintances.
Although the party lasted all night, it eventually came to an end. After more than two hours past midnight, they bid farewell and left for their respective homes.
Radanta thanked everyone who came to his party and was left with one person, Ran, his childhood friend who always stuck with him
"Whew, quite a tiring night, but I can't deny it's the liveliest party I've ever had. Alright, let me take you home, Ran! I don't want your mom complaining you didn't get enough sleep because of my party," Radanta teased Ran, who retorted by slapping Radanta's back. "No way, never in my life i would oversleep, it's just me saving an extra energy."
"Hm.. suit yourself, but hurry before I change my mind and make you go home alone," Radanta walked towards his parked Bike outside, leaving Ran behind. "Oh really? Is that how you treat a lady? No wonder a single soul never attracted to you," Ran protested while catching up with Radanta, voicing her discontent.
That's how they interacted, sometimes arguing but often close. One thing was certain—they never left each other's side, even in the worst of times. Their relationship never involved romance; it was a pure friendship where they complemented each other.
Starting his engine, Radanta drove Ran home, passing through the quiet night among tall trees lining the streets, the cold breeze brushing against them.
After dropping Ran off, he headed back home. As he traveled the same route with a strange feeling in the early hours, something felt off, different from usual.
As if being watched, his instinct sensed something was about to happen to him. He sped up, hoping to reach home soon, but unfortunately, shortly after feeling uneasy, his motorcycle suddenly stalled, gradually stopping as if he had hit the brakes without doing so.
"What the hell is this? Why is this happening all of a sudden, right after I felt something wasn't right? Damn, I'm not afraid of the supernatural, but come on, this is annoying!" Radanta exclaimed in frustration, looking around and attempting to restart his motorcycle, but to no avail—a futile effort.
" *Bang!* Now I have to push this thing all the way home!" He punched the fuel tank in frustration, got off the motorcycle, and removed his helmet. "If only I had superpowers like in those stories, this would be much easier for me."

"Huh? What—" *Flash!* "Ow ow ow! WHAT IS THIS?! WHY IS THERE SUDDENLY A BRIGHT LIGHT HERE?" Radanta tried to shield his eyes; the next moment, he felt pulled by something incredibly strong. "W-WOAHH HEYY, WHAT IS THIS?! WHAT'S REALLY HAPPENING?! ARGHHH"..
