Chapter 18 - Set the Stage with Fate

As both Tim and Sir Nirven succumbed to the effects of the powerful spell they had cast, they stood frozen like statues, their bodies withered and dull. The battle had taken its toll on them, and now they remained immobilized, trapped in a state between consciousness and unconsciousness.

In this eerie silence, the bath hall was still, and the white rabbit bestialkin and the young rebel were locked in an enduring stalemate. It was a poignant reminder of the consequences of their actions, of the risks they had taken to challenge the Order and the sealed memories that bound the Faction Knights.

Only time would tell what fate awaited them as they remained in their petrified state, frozen in a moment of defiance against a system that had kept them prisoners of their own pasts.

Until a Red(mad) Hatter is well called the Prime Entertainer smirks with his multicolored fashion clothing and Top-Hat smirking as he fix his monocle "psss , I know you're alive Nirven.." as the rabbit twitch his weak ears and groans struggling to move his head to face the trusted left hand man of Equinox "what?" Red Hatter spoke "Woah Woah , easy there Captain…Why so sour? I am here to check on you on her eminence' behalf like WHY DIDN'T YOU USE A FATAL BLOW AND YOUR CORE RELEASE magical skill from your special weapon?" The rabbit scoffs wither dust on red hatter as he replied "Red Hatter….You lied about these rebels being spies of the enemy from Gradience the residence of Coloria called Forbidden Valley right?" Red Hatter bonk the paralyze white rabbit with his top hat and spoke with flamboyance "tsk tsk what an utter failure , you are exclusive servants to both the order and her eminence!!! Just avoid skepticism and look now the boy rebel defeated you" Nirven spoke "that boy is innocent that's why I didn't use the final blow he's a good person…curse it" he got slap by Red Hatter and spoke "It's time to cast your Divine Punishment!!! As our com eminence permitted me to cast it upon defect Faction Knights or one's that failed their duties so Eternal Immobility!!!" As he casted a new layer of magic turning Nirven to a frozen crystallized statue while Red Hatter carefully freed an unconscious Tim from the effects of the decay that just affected his bottom half as he healed the boy before happily carrying him out wiht mystery , Nirven before actually fainted glance and hope Tim can stay alive for his goal.

As Nirven was transformed into a crystallized statue by the Great Entertainer's magic, the fate of the white rabbit bestialkin seemed sealed. His act of defiance and compassion had come at a high cost, leaving him frozen in time, his memories still locked away, and his doubts unanswered.

Meanwhile, the unconscious Tim had been healed and carried away by the enigmatic Red Hatter. The mysterious figure had intervened, preventing the young rebel from succumbing to the withering effects of the powerful spell he had cast. Tim's fate now lay in the hands of this enigmatic character, whose motivations and allegiances remained shrouded in secrecy.

As the events within the Sacred Emerald Palace unfolded, the mysteries and complexities of Coloria's society and its Faction Knights continued to deepen, setting the stage for even more challenges and revelations in the future.

Meanwhile Dorothy wake up Nova from his nap on the ledge as they found GARGOYLES but Nova ask "wait I thought you said this part higher part of the palace' main tower building has a spell against flying beings!!" Dorothy also gulps in surprise "Hey , I don't know I never seems creature that originated from Gradience enemy territory we coined Forbidden Valley can resist such a spell that lasted forever…" Nova spoke as he unsheathe his blade "ready to fight them off? Together with our own swords?"

As Nova and Dorothy confronted the unexpected presence of Gargoyles on the ledge, they readied their weapons and steeled themselves for a challenging battle. These creatures, originating from the forbidden territory of Gradience, posed a unique threat.

The duo prepared to face the Gargoyles head-on, their weapons at the ready, determined to defend themselves and overcome this unexpected obstacle. The encounter with these formidable foes added another layer of intrigue and danger to their quest within the Sacred Emerald Palace.

They fight off with ease as they support eachother as Dorothy notice "Ohh you got Gargoyle goo too in your cheek here burrow my napkin…it's imbued with purification glyph so it can cleanse any curse or dangerous stains.."

As they fought off the Gargoyles together, Dorothy noticed a small stain or mark on Nova's cheek. She offered him a napkin imbued with a purification glyph, explaining that it could cleanse any curse or dangerous stains. Nova accepted the napkin and used it to clean the mark on his cheek, feeling grateful for Dorothy's assistance and the magical properties of the napkin. Their teamwork and resourcefulness continued to serve them well as they navigated the challenges within the Sacred Emerald Palace.

He returned it with her in gratitude as she blush "Oh of course we're on a truce after all so ahem since thinking about reveling the order and her eminence doesn't punish me internal pain now…Can you explain how this 10 year old girl Dorothy stone was like before the accident she got accused to break a rule and taken away when she was friends with your bestfriend Tim and Oz my brother.." Nova can understand she is referring her unbrainwashed self as a separate identity as he reference how they describe her in their childhood

Nova took a moment to gather his thoughts before sharing with Dorothy. "Certainly, Dorothy. Before the incident and the accusation that led to her becoming a Faction Knight, she was a bright and cheerful girl. She lived in Amurite village and was known for her kindness and friendliness. She was always there to help others, and her friendship with Tim and Oz was truly special. They had many adventures together, exploring the village, playing games, and sharing laughter. Dorothy Stone was a source of joy and hope for those around her."

Nova's words carried a sense of nostalgia as he recalled the image of the young Dorothy, unburdened by the duties and memories that came with being a Faction Knight. "She was a true friend, and her disappearance from their lives left a void that they've felt ever since. Tim and Oz have been trying to free her from the clutches of the Order, to restore her to the Dorothy they once knew and loved."

He hid that weird feeling Dorothy and Tim Felt familiar to even and even this fantasy world before Dorothy Cardinal no.42 smiled and lean over Nova's shoulder sleepy "both tired from The monsters earlier…thanks Dear Nova For sharing the person I used to be before I accidentally commit taboo.."

Nova nodded with a small smile. "You're welcome, Dorothy. We all carry a piece of our past with us, and it's important to remember where we came from. Don't worry; we'll do our best to help you regain your true self." He gently patted her hand as they continued their journey through the higher levels of the palace, hoping to find Tim and reunite with their friend.

He also slept as they rest at the Ledge in peace

Resting at the ledge, Nova and Dorothy found a moment of tranquility amid their challenging journey. They drifted into a peaceful sleep, recharging for the trials that awaited them in the higher levels of the palace. In their dreams, they held onto the hope of reuniting with Tim and uncovering the truth about their pasts.

Transitioning to

In the modern world, Cosmos De Valor, Nova's triplet sister (altered to be perceived as a twin), had been struggling with a series of strange occurrences throughout her life. Her parents, Aloe Vera and Litmus De Valor, had always been there for her, explaining away the peculiar events as mere coincidences or products of an active imagination. However, as Cosmos grew older, these events became more frequent and impossible to ignore.

One day, while researching her family's history and delving into old photo albums, Cosmos stumbled upon pictures of her siblings, Nova and their missing triplet. The problem was that Cosmos could hardly remember having more than one sibling. The memories were foggy, and something seemed amiss. Her parents had always told her that she was a twin, and her twin brother, Nova, was currently in a coma due to an accident. But her dreams and the photographs suggested otherwise.

Frustrated and curious, Cosmos decided to confront her parents. She demanded the truth about her family's origins and the memories that seemed to elude her. After a long and emotional conversation, Aloe Vera and Litmus decided it was time to share the hidden history of their family.

They revealed that Nova, Cosmos, and their missing sibling were not originally from the modern world. They were born in Amerte, a small village in the fantastical nation of Coloria. Their early childhood had been filled with magical experiences and adventures. Yet, an unforeseen tragedy had struck, and Nova had been critically injured while their missing sibling had disappeared.

In an attempt to protect their children from the pain and loss, Aloe Vera and Litmus had made the difficult decision to alter their memories and send them to the modern world. There, they would be safe from the dangerous magical forces that had affected their past.

Furthermore, Nova's current coma was not a result of an accident but rather a side effect of the memory-altering process. He had somehow retained fragments of his earlier life, which had led to his mysterious condition.

Aloe Vera and Litmus also shared their hope that Nova would recover, and they expressed their concern for their missing child. They believed that the answer to these mysteries lay in the fantastical world of Mythlandia, where their children were originally from. But the magical barriers that separated the two worlds made it impossible for them to explore further.

That's when Cosmos encountered Tao Yusha, a deity who served as a messenger between worlds. After hearing Cosmos's pleas, Tao Yusha agreed to help. He used his magic to communicate with Nova, who was in a coma, and performed the connected ritual to transfer his essence to Mythlandia. In this fantastical world, Cosmos's true training would begin.

Cosmos embraced her role as a student of magic, determined to unlock the secrets of her family's past and reunite with her siblings. As she honed her magical abilities and learned to harness the limited mana of the modern world, she grew more confident in her quest to uncover the truth about their origins and the mysterious occurrences that had shaped their lives. Together with Tao Yusha, they set out on a journey that would take them to Mythlandia, where they hoped to resolve the enigma that had enveloped their family.

In the early days of their lives, the flow of time in the fantastical world of Mythlandia and the modern world diverged greatly. Nova, Cosmos, and their missing sibling led different lives in Amerite, the small village in Coloria, as children. Nova was not injured during his childhood; rather, their family had decided to leave Amerite and head to the modern world. The memory-altering process was done by Tao Yusha, a benevolent deity, to protect them from the danger they faced in Coloria.

While Nova's modern world body lay in a coma due to an accident where he had heroically saved someone, his heart rate remained stable. The medical expenses had been covered by the person he had rescued, relieving their family of financial burden.

Tao Yusha further explained the concept of Ecto-mana, an extremely rare type of magic. It wasn't a genetic trait but rather a twist of fate, a decision made by a group of divine beings residing in the divine realm of Mythlandia. These divine beings, whom only a god like Tao Yusha could communicate with, had determined that the De Valor family's children would be born with Ecto-mana. This unique type of mana allowed them to possess extraordinary abilities beyond the conventional magical practices of Mythlandia.

Cosmos exhibited her own abilities as well. She had a natural talent for communicating with animals and occasionally experienced migraines accompanied by vague intuitions. These migraines signaled that the seal cast on her had started to weaken, despite her relocation to the modern world.

As Tao Yusha guided Cosmos through her training, she sought to unlock the secrets of their past and the enigma surrounding their family. The barrier between Mythlandia and the modern world presented a challenge, but they were determined to uncover the truth and bring their family back together. The story of the De Valor family's journey continued, filled with hope, mystery, and the exploration of their unique magical talents.

As Tao Yusha inquired about her brother Nova, Cosmos provided some insights into his life in the modern world before his coma and Isekai phenomenon. She shared that Nova had been in relationships with two individuals, revealing that he was bisexual. The first relationship was with a kind Japanese girl named Sachiko, who had fluency in English. Unfortunately, their time together was brief as Sachiko succumbed to a tragic battle with a cancerous disease.

The second relationship ended more mysteriously, and Cosmos was unaware of the exact reasons for their break-up. She speculated that it might have been related to Nova's still-developing awareness of his own bisexuality. Cosmos, however, pondered the possibilities of these events, recognizing that her brother was navigating complex aspects of his life.

Tao Yusha, observing Cosmos's potential for foresight, clairvoyance, and detecting omens, was intrigued by her latent abilities. These talents remained underdeveloped due to the lack of magical training available in the modern world. To Cosmos's relief, Tao Yusha reassured her that Nova's other avatar-like body in Mythlandia was safe and had a companion with whom he was working to resolve a significant conflict in the realm.

As the mysteries surrounding their family's past and the connection between the two worlds continued to unfold, Cosmos felt a sense of hope and determination, both for herself and her brother.

Tao Yusha offered an explanation for the unique phenomenon that had brought the De Valor family to Mythlandia. He elaborated on his role as an ascended god, emphasizing that his specific domains included Spirit, Stars, and Rebirth. As a messenger god, he had the crucial duty of overseeing various aspects of mortal and spiritual life, such as souls in life, death, and the cycle of reincarnation. His responsibilities extended to guiding lost souls and managing the dream world, with the stars representing the reflection of countless dreams.

Tao Yusha admitted that the modern world's rules and dynamics weren't entirely within his jurisdiction. He expressed a desire to avoid infringing on the territory of potentially more powerful beings in the multiverse. He acknowledged that the phenomenon that had caused the mana-summon distortion, leading to the De Valor family's arrival in current modern world, had been initiated by the seven deities of Coloria. These deities were indirectly involved in the mortal realm and couldn't personally interfere in the affairs of the living.

He assured Cosmos that some of these deities were safe and residing in various parts of Mythlandia, such as other nations and continents. The focus, he noted, was that the De Valor family had been chosen through their parents' prayer to be summoned into the world of magic, creating a unique and miraculous connection between the two worlds.

The revelation added layers to the complex narrative, deepening the mystery of the family's origins and the dynamics at play in both the modern world and Mythlandia.

The reason the De Valor family managed to escape a dangerous situation in Coloria and find refuge in the modern world was due to a phenomenon known as the mana-summon distortion. In this event, the children's magical abilities were sealed away, and their parents had to adapt and adjust to the modern world, where the use of magic was considered delusional by societal norms.

Tao Yusha, a messenger deity, was instrumental in guiding the family during this transition. He patiently assisted the De Valor family, understanding the complexities of their situation. Moreso , the current Nova's coma state, resulting from a noble act, made it easier for Tao Yusha to interact with him, as his fascination with the idea of being part of an Isekai adventure made him willing to help, even though this was quite different from conventional hero summoning.

Cosmos, one of the De Valor children, had unique heterochromatic eyes, with her left eye being blue and her right eye green. During moments of her migraine attacks, her eyes would flicker yellow, hinting at her inherent powers. Her magical abilities had been suppressed for her safety.

Cosmos questioned the need for extensive meditation and dance knowledge, along with the necessity to maintain a facade of not being a quirky kid. She continued to attend school while adjusting to her new life in the modern world.

These revisions provide a clearer understanding of the De Valor family's situation and the challenges they faced during their transition to the modern world.
