Annie spoke firmly, glancing away from fresh fruits. "Mr. Jack, there is no need to give us your food; we will manage. I will go outside and bring something for them."
Lily and Bob gulped but controlled their desires, shook their little heads. "Big Brother, we don't need it."
The smile disappeared from Jack's face, and he spoke, acting a little angry, "You both are calling me big brother, also not accepting the things I give you; it seems you are not sincere. Eat them quickly or I will throw them out."
Lily and Bob were startled, looking at the angry face of Jack in a daze, then glanced at Annie. Seeing her hesitating for a while, she nodded at them.
"Thank you, big brother," Lily grabbed an apple in both hands and started biting happily. Bob also picked the banana. "Thank you."
Jack nodded calmly, looking at both little guys. Lily is cheerful, and Bob is introverted and calm, like his elder sister Annie. He is brave, also.
"Growl."
