A green energy beam pierced through the sky and was devoured by the colossal shadow. If humans saw this shadow, they would be surprised; this shadow was an alien ship resembling a withered dark tree with twisted vines and roots around and below it.
After absorbing all the life energy, the planet became barren, devoid of any plant or life due to ecological collapse. The climate on the planet became harsh, volcanoes erupted, and the planet's temperature turned red due to solar flares.

Another encrypted message spread in the cosmos, outside the Woodland Galaxy. The space around the colossal ship rippled like water, and it moved toward another direction.
Inside Green Star,
Jack was walking toward a building, while Luna followed him.
"Save us, please help us," a desperate voice pleaded.
Suddenly, a voice appeared, catching Jack's attention as he looked toward the entrance of the faraway building.
"Husband, I will help them. You can go to the front building," Luna declared.
Jack glanced at the survivor near the hotel entrance in the distance, then shifted his gaze to the open glass windows displaying life activities in the rooms above. His mouth curved; it seemed like it was time to show Luna the harsh reality.
"Luna, you can go. Just be careful. Don't remove your helmet, don't retract your tactical armor, and don't give any weapons. Understand?" Jack looked at her in the eyes and instructed solemnly.
Luna nodded solemnly and then ran toward the survivors and beasts near that building. Jack watched her back calmly. "Well, it's good she will recognize the true nature of humans in the end."
Turning around, Jack walked toward the science expo building. As he observed the towering structures, he reminisced about the huge science event held here on the first of January, where the latest technology experts participated from around the world, showcasing their inventions.
"I am not here for scientists or any invention. I am here for the semi-intelligence and servers, the vast technological data, as well as technology manufacturing machines and tools. The world's first quantum computer and printer," Jack muttered interestingly.
He walked toward the science expo, eliminating nightwalkers and beasts along the way. Surveying the area, he noticed that the concentration of nightwalkers and beasts was significantly lower than the previous day. "They are slowly scattering around the world, also running away from each other."
Nightwalkers and beasts evolved faster after consuming other creatures. After reaching the 2nd level, they gained a degree of intelligence with caution.
"Still, there are a lot," Jack shook his head, looking at the nightwalkers around, along with one or two beasts. After devouring them, he appeared near the entrance of the expo area.
Looking at the locked entrance with heavy enclosed security, Jack focused on the material around.
"Metal! Earth!"
The blockage squirmed, creating a passage for Jack to walk through. Once inside, it closed again.
Surveying the expo buildings and vehicles, Jack walked toward them. After entering, he faced numerous nightwalkers, eliminating them one by one. Observing broken windows in a particular direction, he noticed mucus-like tentacles attached inside this floor, spreading throughout the entire building.
Jack walked near the tentacles, observing the starfish-like enormous monster with five tentacles spread across the buildings. He frowned, "I haven't encounter such a monster before."
On the other side, near the Hotel Building, Luna efficiently eliminated the invading beasts and nightwalkers, gathering the survivors. Observing Luna's High-Tech Black Ops suit, guns, and ammunition, some survivors couldn't help but gulp. A middle-aged man, identified as Steven, stepped forward.
"Miss, which department and rank are you from? I am Steven, manager of this hotel," he asked politely, then added, "Also can you tell us about the situation outside."
Luna was startled looking at this middle aged man in manager suit, then nodded, explained everything, the survivors were frightened, started panicking looking at each other, then in dire straits, they requested, "Miss can you help us bring some supplies, from near market, as hotel supplies are almost consumed."
Luna hesitated but looking at their dire situation, and hopeful face, nodded, "I will help you," before they could cheer up,Luna added, "Next time you can do it yourself."
All survivor's fell silent, then Luna walked toward outside direction.
As she walked away, everyone were looking at her back, a survivor suggested, "We should also ask for weapons; she has a lot of weapons. We can use them to fight those monsters outside. You've seen how those monsters died with just a few shots."
Steven shook his head, rebuked, "It's impossible. She will not give. There are no weapons and suits like that in the whole world. I know military and technology very well; it's something else."
The survivors hesitated, Another one said, "Why don't we force her anyway, she is a girl."
Some survivors face changed, expressing concerns, "She is already helping us so much, how can we?,"
but Steven, eyes lit up, nodded, "It's a good idea." a scheming smile appeared on his face, assured them, "Don't worry. I have a plan. If we follow that, we can get everything from her, not just one weapon."
some survivors still expressed reservations, "She is helping us just now, it's bad idea to take everything from her." Other survivors fell silent in favor of Steven, they also wanted weapons to save their life.
Steven hinted at a non-threatening strategy and motivated them, "Don't worry; I didn't say anything like killing her or injuring her. We will just get her equipment and that suit. Think about it; if a man wears that suit, he will be stronger than her and protect everyone more securely."
Then glanced at the survivors, who spoke in favor of Luna, added "Also, if she refuses to give anything, then those who spoke in her favor just now; will go out and bring food for other survivors next time."
Instantly everyone fell silent, A smile appeared on Steven face.
While the survivors and Steven were arguing and planning, few boys among them exchanged glances, silently, a different scheme is running in their mind,
At the Science Expo, Jack witnessed the ugly monster, impaled by huge earth rock spikes and frozen in place using his ice ability. After crumbling the ice, ensuring its complete demise, he walked into the building area, storing away technology from all buildings and labs.
Approaching a warehouse-shaped building, Opened it walked inside, halted looking at frightened survivors inside—five males and twelve females.
A young lady in staff suit stood up, pleading for help, "Please help us," after hesitating she said, "Are you from the government.
Jack then glanced at the surroundings, assessing their meager supplies of biscuits and food. "I am not from the government; I am a survivor like you," he asserted.
Everyone were startled, and the lady, in particular, seemed disappointed. She picked up the biscuit box and offered it, saying, "Here, take it. You must have got this suit in the science expo building. You must have been hungry looking for food."
