Chapter 203 - Chapter 203: Consider yourself lucky.

If you choose to be a scumbag, then do it properly.

You must treat both girls equally, not neglecting either of them.

Since he had been spending a lot of time with Cheng Lu recently, Xu Xiuwen felt slightly guilty towards Tang Weiwei. So, after dinner, he took Tang Weiwei to a quiet grove to continue fostering their relationship.

After some intimate moments, realizing it was almost time for her part-time job, Tang Weiwei emerged from the grove with a flushed face.

She kept adjusting her clothes.

Xu Xiuwen, seeing the girl's shy expression, brought his fingers to his nose.

A faint scent of milk.

Tang Weiwei, having finished adjusting her clothes, turned to see Xu Xiuwen's action and blushed again.

Xu Xiuwen, aware she had seen him, didn't explain and asked knowingly, "What's that smell? It's so fragrant. Is it perfume?"

Tang Weiwei, who never wore perfume, said softly, "I don't use perfume."

Xu Xiuwen laughed and said, "Then it must be your natural scent."

The girl realized she had fallen into his trap.

She quickly turned away, not daring to respond to Xu Xiuwen anymore.

Xu Xiuwen didn't tease Tang Weiwei further. After taking her to the restaurant where she worked part-time, he promised to pick her up after her shift.

Standing by the roadside, Xu Xiuwen considered what to do next.

After some thought, he decided to see Cheng Lu.

Just as he had told Tang Weiwei during dinner, with winter break approaching, he wouldn't be able to see her for a long time. The same applied to Cheng Lu.

The winter break at Jiaotong University lasted a bit over a month.

During this month, he certainly wouldn't see Cheng Lu.

Having confirmed his relationship with Cheng Lu less than a week ago, their feelings were at their most intense.

Moreover, Cheng Lu was his white moonlight from his previous life, with lingering attachments from the past.

So he was eager to immerse himself in Cheng Lu, to be as close to her as possible.

Xu Xiuwen arrived at Jiaotong University but didn't call Cheng Lu immediately. Instead, he quietly went to the literary and arts department's activity room, planning to surprise her.

He peeked through the window, seeing that the room was dark and empty.

Xu Xiuwen realized Cheng Lu wasn't there today.

Feeling a bit dejected that his surprise plan had failed, he took out his phone to call Cheng Lu.

She quickly answered, "What's up? Why are you calling?"

"I miss you. Where are you now?"

"Are you done with your stuff? I'm in the dormitory reading."

"Yeah, just finished. I miss you. Can you come out?"

Cheng Lu was delighted to hear him say he missed her. She chuckled lightly and asked, "Where are you?"

"I'm at the activity room."

"Why are you there, silly? I got it. Wait for me. I'll be there soon," Cheng Lu said before hanging up.

Xu Xiuwen waited at the activity room for about ten minutes before Cheng Lu appeared, slightly out of breath, in the hallway and ran up to him.

Xu Xiuwen quickly approached her with concern, "Why were you running?"

"Afraid you'd get impatient waiting."

Cheng Lu rolled her eyes at him, then took out the key to open the door to the activity room.

Once the door was open, Xu Xiuwen followed her inside and casually locked the door behind him.

Cheng Lu noticed his little action but pretended not to see it.

Xu Xiuwen walked to the center of the room and said, "This activity room is quite big, perfect for dancing."

He looked at their reflections in the mirror, admiring how well-matched they appeared in terms of height, looks, and temperament.

He couldn't help but say, "Don't we look perfect together?"

Cheng Lu glared at him and said, "You're a lustful pig, and I'm a beauty. Who's perfect with you?"

Xu Xiuwen chuckled, "If I'm a pig, then you're an old sow."

Cheng Lu immediately glared at him, "Who are you calling an old sow?"

"Whoever kisses me, that's who," Xu Xiuwen replied, making Cheng Lu blush.

Since Cheng Lu had initiated their kisses both times, she was too embarrassed to deny it and remained silent.

Xu Xiuwen didn't push further, fearing her icy demeanor might flare up unpredictably.

After a minute of silence, Xu Xiuwen changed the subject, "Do you usually practice dancing in this room?"

Cheng Lu nodded, "Yes, it's quiet here. No one usually disturbs me."

Xu Xiuwen chuckled, "You dance beautifully."

Cheng Lu wasn't swayed by his compliment and warily asked, "What's on your mind?"

"I'm your boyfriend. What could I be thinking?"

Cheng Lu kept staring at him.

Realizing he couldn't fool her, Xu Xiuwen admitted, "I just want to see you dance, just for me."

Cheng Lu didn't respond.

"Can you?" Xu Xiuwen urged.

Cheng Lu glanced at him and said, "You're in luck. I've never danced for a guy before."

With that, she walked to a corner of the room where a makeshift changing area was set up with wire and curtains.

After about five minutes, when Xu Xiuwen was getting impatient, Cheng Lu finally emerged.

She was wearing a light blue long dress, conservatively styled, covering her chest and back.

This made Xu Xiuwen feel both satisfied and slightly disappointed.

Cheng Lu approached him and stood a meter away.

She began to dance gracefully, her arms and shoulders moving in harmony, her toes spinning, her slender body swaying like a willow, her long legs tracing circles. Her figure was light, and her dance steps were agile.

In her movements, her radiant face alternated between light and shadow under the lights, her lips slightly curved, with strands of hair falling on her cheeks.

Xu Xiuwen had seen girls perform classical dance before.

But none had danced as well as Cheng Lu.

She seemed like a mystical fairy, captivating his heart.

Xu Xiuwen watched in a daze.

Soon, the dance ended.

Seeing his dumbfounded look, Cheng Lu laughed, "Silly, wipe your drool."

Xu Xiuwen wiped his mouth, only to realize she had tricked him—there was no drool.

"Was it beautiful?" Cheng Lu asked with a smile.

Xu Xiuwen nodded repeatedly, "Beautiful, it was really damn beautiful."

Cheng Lu immediately glared at him, "No swearing."

Then she added gently, "If you think it's beautiful, that's enough. This is the first time I've danced for a boy. Consider yourself lucky."

Cheng Lu then performed another dance.

Xu Xiuwen remained entranced.

When she finished, Xu Xiuwen couldn't hold back anymore. He rushed up, pressing her against the mirror, and kissed her.

Cheng Lu was initially startled by his action.

She pushed against his chest but, failing to budge him, stopped resisting.

Instead, she wrapped her slender arms around Xu Xiuwen's neck.
