Chapter 111 - One Hundred and Eleventh

The Fae Festival of Celebration apparently didn't stop even when the sun went down. Even as Emily sat down in exhaustion in the grass, the fae continued to play and race around.

Merwyn chuckled as he sat next to her, reaching out to run his fingers through her hair. "It's alright, Wifey. The Fae Festival of Celebration lasts longer than just one day, so you can sleep without worry!"

She yawned and hummed. "Won't I miss the night time celebrating...?"

He waved his hand. "We can see it tomorrow night~"

"I see..."

She slumped a little. "Sorry Merwyn. I feel bad that I'm not much fun, but...I think I might need to lay down for a few hours..."

She smiled weakly.

The Fae Realm was magical, yes, but the fact of the matter was that she still needed some level of sleep.

Even if the fae could just magically run and keep up this pace forever and never get tired, she certainly couldn't.
