They wandered a bit in the gardens when she could see that he was flagging from the day's activities and probably needed a break.

The sun was beginning to set, casting long shadows throughout the land as golden rays of sunlight filtered through leaves and branches alike as if dancing above them all, bringing forth warmth and brightness to the surrounding area.

Even more stunning was the vibrant color that now streaked through everything the fading sunlight touched, painting the land and sky colors of pink, purple, and orange.

With a content sigh, she let herself settle into an outdoor swing that overlooked the water fountain behind the palace.

From where they sat, she could watch colorful koi swim around eager for evening meals.

She let her eyelids slip shut, sighing happily at the sound of the fountains and the pleasant breeze ruffling through her hair.

So comfortable and pleasant...
