Emily took a moment to collect herself from the strange surprise, then looked over to the fae standing in front of her with a wide smile and a curious glimmer in his pink eyes.
"Emilyyy..." He grinned devilishly as he spoke her name.
He was always so incredibly pleased and happy when he called her name.
Emily raised an eyebrow at him, unsure of what exactly he was thinking.
"Merwyn...?" She prompted him back, drawing out the last syllable of his name.
"I know exactly what I want to give you now," Merwyn spoke happily, eyes glimmering mischievously. "The perfect gift for my lovely and beloved human bride!"
He sounded absolutely ecstatic about the idea of giving her some sort of fae surprise.
She blinked owlishly up at the handsome, elegant fae.
He'd been alluding to this gift and other rewards for a while now, so...
A part of her really wanted to know what exactly it was.
