Chapter 118 - One Hundred and Eighteenth

Her dreams were...strange and confusing.

She'd been so tired in reality that it made sense they'd be all scrambled in her head, but...

She woke up slowly, still exhausted as she shifted in her sleep.

But in her dream, she was running, running, running.

Tears were streaming down her cheeks.

Her feet felt like they were bleeding, she'd been running for so long.

She'd run from the orcs, the beasts, and the war.

She'd run until her throat burned.

And even then she kept running.

She stumbled over her own two feet and tumbled into the mud.

She wanted to just lay there, but she forced herself to stand up, and kept moving.

The cold wind bit at her as she ran, freezing her hands, her face, and her feet.

She wasn't even sure where she was running.

She couldn't stop.

If she stopped...

If she stopped, the monsters would find her.

The army of monsters would come and take her away.
