Trisha was even more tormented by their disgusting laughter and moans that pierced through the stillness of the evening.
"Let's not do this here. I'm worried about Trisha popping up any minute now," Olivia expressed her concern. "I'll stay at your place tonight. You can have your way with me later..."
Damon didn't seem to care. He ran his hands all over her and uttered something nasty.
"Nah, I need you right now! Don't be scared of her. She won't be a problem for long. I've found a way to kick her out of the company. She might be devastated and crying out loud now after she heard the bad news from Mark. You can stick with me from here on out, and I promise you'll have a great life..."
With a seductive whisper, he lustfully kissed her all over.
"I forgot to lock the side door. I'm just worried someone might walk in... ah hmmm," Olivia muttered her reluctance again as her eyes fluttered open and closed in ecstasy.
Ignoring her plea, Damon pushed her into a soft, reclined couch and then inserted his proud glory in the middle of her pleasure center. Both moaned out of pleasure as they shared an intimate evening together.
The steamy scene took place right there in that corner of the living room.
Trisha was still standing in the in the doorway, nervously twisting her fingers. She couldn't take hearing the moans and sighs any longer.
Tears welled up in her eyes as she struggled to come to terms with the painful reality before her. It was a moment of heartbreak and betrayal that would forever change the course of her life and her relationship with Damon.
Suddenly, Olivia let out a loud shriek. It wasn't a scream of pleasure but a scared one, like she'd seen a ghost. Of course, she caught a glimpse of Trisha's presence from the corner of her eye, and it shocked her, making her eyes widen in surprise.
This was probably the most awful straight-up hot scene in history since it all fizzled out before reaching its climax.
Her world spun as Trisha wobbled, almost on the verge of passing out from the shock. With every ounce of willpower, she steadied herself, leaning against the nearest wall for support. Anger and disbelief coursed through her veins, replacing the initial shock. In front of these two lustful scumbags, she knew she couldn't let herself fall apart.
Trisha refused to give them the satisfaction of seeing her break down. She knew she had to confront them, to demand answers, and to make them face the consequences of their betrayal.
Not missing a beat, Damon reacted to Olivia's shock and probed, "What happened, baby? Don't you like that?"
Olivia, still taken aback and wide-eyed, stammered out, "Trisha... She's right here! How did she...?" In her attempt to collect herself, she tried to push Damon away, but he tightened his grip even more.
His eyes darted towards the side door in a sudden panic as he realized they had been caught in the act. He quickly turned his head to see Trisha was indeed standing there.
After a brief moment of shock, Damon managed a nervous chuckle and quipped, "Oh! Looks like we've got an unexpected audience, huh?"
Instead of moving away from Olivia, Damon pumped his manhood while buried his head in her breast and indulged in inflamed passion, ardently sucking on them. It's like an old saying, since they're already wet, might as well get soaked.
Trisha's eyes widened in disbelief and shock as she watched the scene playing out before her. Her heart hammered in her chest as she looked away and tried to wipe her tears away. She couldn't bear to look any longer, pain and hurt washing over her.
A brief silence hung in the air, interrupted by a muffled scream, smooches, moans and struggling. Throughout this tumultuous moment, Trisha remained silent, her lips tightly sealed. Deep down, she couldn't ignore the feeling that this kind of situation had been looming on the horizon, and now it had finally come to pass.
In the next moment, things got pretty awkward. Damon finally let go of Olivia, and they both tried to straighten themselves out, looking all tousled from their steamy moment. Caught in a whirlwind of emotions, Trisha just stood there, unsure of how to react or what to say next. The room felt tense, like everyone was holding their breath, as they all tried to process the shock of what had just gone down and what would come next.
After a brief moment of silence, Damon eventually stood in front of Trisha, with just a towel draped around his body, while Olivia hurriedly dashed into the bedroom.
Now, Trisha could take a closer look at him. He was a handsome, sturdy man who had been her first love. However, she was well aware that his heart belonged to someone else, not her.
"Trisha... you're here at last."
She responded with a heavy sigh and retorted cynically, "Are you really that impatient for my arrival?"
Damon grinned sheepishly and replied, "Well, let's just say I've been eagerly anticipating your presence." He walked closer and reached out his hands to her. "Well…"
"Don't you dare to lay your filthy hand on me!" She distastefully jerked his hands away, her eyes blazing with anger as she shot back, "Stop messing around with me, Damon. This isn't a joke."
His expression shifted to more serious look as he responded, "Trish, we need to talk about this. It's not like what you think."
Trisha folded her arms with an annoyance look on her face. "How could you know what I think? I've seen and heard enough. There's nothing left to talk about."
"Alright, Trish. It's not related to us, you know."
"So, then what is it all about?"
"Do you know why I ended up sleeping with her?" He shot her an angry glare, his eyes filled with frustration and resentment. "Because she looks like a real woman, okay? She's sweet, gentle, and caring, unlike a heartless, ambitious woman who always tries to compete with men. Moreover, she's good at bed." He mischievously winked at her.
She responded in shock, "What?"
"Seriously! If you don't want to be cheated on, maybe you should start acting like a real woman. Take a look at yourself in the mirror! Look at how you dress, the way you spoke and behave. Trust me, no one wants to sleep with, uh… an old-fashioned, rigid superwoman!" Damon scolded.
Trisha tried hard to hold back her tears and replied, "Damon, it doesn't make it right. We could have talked about our issues instead of this. You've hurt me deeply."
His anger began to wane, and he tried to reason with her, saying, "I'm not excusing what I did, but I want you to understand where my frustration was coming from. It doesn't justify my actions, but I hope you can see the bigger picture."
"I can't believe you're saying this. It feels like everything we had has been torn apart," she responded with a heavy heart. "And I just found out from Mark Petrunich. I felt betrayed when I learned that you were involved in my transfer to that damned place, Azure Bay Island."
"Trish, what we had was becoming more like wishful thinking, and I didn't know how to fix it. That's why I came up with the idea to transfer you to the island. I thought it might help."
She couldn't help but roll her eyes in disbelief. "You honestly believed that sending me to Azure Bay Island was a solution? That's just plain ridiculous. What on earth possessed you to come up with such a crazy idea?"
"You've always had a deep love for nature, and I thought this could be an opportunity for you to take on a new challenge and potentially get promoted. I had good intentions, even if it didn't seem that way."
"No, it doesn't feel that way to me," she replied doubtfully, "Sending me to Azure Bay Island felt more like a banishment than an opportunity. It's as if you're trying to distance me from everything we've built together."
"Well, maybe you need to see it for what it is. This could be an opportunity for you, but if you don't want to see that, then there's not much else to say."
"Damon, you should know by now that I've always been your biggest supporter. Haven't you noticed that all the effort I've put in has been to help pave the way for your career? Your success and achievements mean everything to me, and I'll do whatever it takes to see you reach the top."
In fact, there was no denying her deep love and unwavering commitment to both his career and their shared dreams. Trisha had worked tirelessly to set the stage for their future, only to watch it all crumble before her eyes. She had envisioned a future filled with their shared goals, and now it seemed like those dreams were slipping through her fingers.
With a cold and dismissive tone, Damon brushed off everything she had done for his ambitious goals. "Let's not pretend that your sacrifices were solely for my career. Your actions don't change the choices I've made because I'm literally your manager. Whether you agree with it or not, you'll be heading to Azure Bay Island tomorrow. That's exactly what you do best!"
Trisha shook her head gloomily. "I get it, all this time you just see me as some sort of specter, and you're probably itching to be rid of me as soon as possible. I should've realized how ambitious you are, willing to do whatever it takes to climb higher in your career. Now I understand that you're trying to set me up and promote yourself."
"Whatever you say! You should count yourself lucky because you don't get fired. You know what? I've been working in this company longer than you and I'll prove it to the higher-ups that I'm more than capable to promote myself. Just take this as an opportunity to prove yourself in a challenging situation. No, you'll prove it yourself when you screw up the Azure Bay project."
She replied reluctantly and with a harsh edge, "Oh, I'll definitely take it as a challenge. But luck has nothing to do with it. You know very well that no projects of mine have ever failed."
"Everything happen for the first time. You have no idea what this place is like."
"I'm going to make this project turn into a profit, no matter what it costs me and when I get back here, you'll be gone."
"Well, try to come back. We'll see about that. Just remember, talk is cheap. Let your work speak for itself," he scoffed. "Believe me, no guy wants to be stuck with someone like you. It's better if we go our separate ways. Our future together just doesn't seem to be in the same cards anymore," Damon declared with a cold indifference. As he spoke, it was evident that he was breaking up with her, severing the ties that had once bound them together.
With a trembling voice and a steely resolve, Trisha looked directly into his eyes and said, "You'll regret this, Damon. One day, you'll understand what you've lost." Then, she turned and walked away, leaving him to contemplate the consequences of his actions.
His words stung with truth. Because of her deep love for nature, Trisha had spent years working outdoors, enduring physical pain without complaint. That's why she didn't understand why some words were so much more painful. Inside, she felt a tumult of anger and hurt, torn apart by his callousness.
It was as if her heart had been riddled with a barrage of bullets. In that agonizing moment, she couldn't help but wonder if there was anyone on this planet who could feel more shattered than she did.
As she walked aimlessly on the street, one name stood out in her thoughts. She took out her phone and called a number she knew well. The screen's glow lit up her face as she waited for the call to connect, holding onto the hope that the voice on the other end would bring her comfort.
"Hey, Ash, can I ask you for a favor? Are you free right now? Mind if I come over to your place?" She asked a rapid series of questions as soon as the phone came through.
Ashley's voice came through on the other end with warmth and concern. "Of course, Trish. You know you're always welcome here. What's going on? Are you okay?"
"Thanks, Ash. I... I'll explain when I get there. I just need someone to talk to right now," Trisha slightly stammered as she responded.
After ending the call, Trisha found herself crumbling. She sank to the nearest bench, her emotions overwhelming her. Tears streamed down her face as the weight of the night's events bore down on her, and she struggled to contain herself, feeling utterly broken and lost.
All this time, she had worn a mask of strength and confidence, which was why Damon and her colleagues had come to see her as a superwoman. Behind that facade, though, she was just as vulnerable as anyone else, and the events of that night had cracked that mask, revealing the raw emotions she had kept hidden for so long.
