"Wake up, sleepyhead!"
Trisha awoke with a start, blinking blearily as she tried to get her bearings. She glanced over at her alarm clock, and her eyes widened as she realized it was almost 9 o'clock.
"Oh my gosh, I'm late!" she exclaimed, jumping out of bed and quickly getting dressed.
Dylan grinned, handing her a mug of coffee. "Not anymore."
"Thanks," she said gratefully, taking a sip of the hot beverage. "How long have you been up?"
"A few hours," he replied. "I didn't want to wake you, so I thought I'd let you sleep in."
Trisha frowned. "I'm sorry, I must have been more tired than I thought. Thanks for the coffee."
"Don't worry about it," he said. "You had a rough day yesterday. You deserve a little rest."
She nodded. "Still, I should have set my alarm."
"It's not a problem," he reassured her.
