A few minutes later when Daisy knocked on the windshields, Ryle walked around the car and got inside the driver's seat.
"What were you saying earlier?" Daisy questioned him as she shifted Angel's position on her lap.
Ryle had a thoughtful expression on his face when she asked the question. He had one hand on the steering wheel as he reclined on the seat, a frown gradually settling between his brows.
After an eternity passed and Daisy thought he had nothing to say, the man opened his mouth and astonished her with the very words that he uttered.
"Move in with me."
Daisy looked at him like he was speaking in a language beyond the comprehension of humans.
And if it was other times, Ryle would have definitely taken some time off to admire the vivid animated expression on Daisy's face.
''Look...''
''You are ridiculous,'' she cut him off, ''And you don't even have an ideal time and lace for joking around.''
