Ryle looked at the woman, ''Did I stutter?"
A chill crawling down the woman's spine when she felt the murderous aura around the man.
Inside the emergency room, the doctor had composed herself, going back to her composed stature but she looked at Daisy while speaking, "I am very apologetic to say this but your child is suffering from thalassemia.''
"This condition is pretty common. If I may ask, is one of you afflicted with the same condition?"
Daisy finally lifted her gaze from the little girl who was lying in the middle of the huge bed, looking even tinier than she already was. As she looked at the doctor, she spoke up, ''I don't have it.''
The doctor was about turn to Ryle when Daisy continued, ''And he is not the father of my child.''
