The ceiling was collapsing and crumbling down. I stood still, watching it as if in slow motion.
The first piece of falling debris didn't hit us, but landed right next to us with a loud, dull thud.
A few moments later, I shouted.
"Everyone, run!"
My loud voice startled everyone there.
The old man immediately went to Lettie's side, with Fay and Rock forming a barrier around Lettie and the old man.
"Just run!"
I circled around right behind the four who had started running, preparing magic just in case.
"Big brother! What about the control device!? What are you going to do!?"
"There's no point if we die! Run for now!"
"But! But!"
Tears were welling up in Lettie's eyes as she ran.
I know, Lettie. If we can't stop this, so many people, no, even your parents in your kingdom, too...
