As I was just heading back to the waiting room, Kyle and Kiril both came out together.
"Good work, that was a great match," Kyle said, patting me on the shoulder.
I thought Kiril would sternly scold me for accepting defeat so easily, but instead he gently encouraged me, saying:
"It can't be helped. After seeing a match like that..."
While I was feeling deeply moved that they were such good guys, complimenting me that it was good I went all out and fought my hardest and whatnot, what surprised me came after this.
Sutore approached me, saying "Engy, you did great. Good work." But her demeanor was completely different from usual - she seemed really calm and composed.
Who is this? Her sister or something? While gaping at Sutore in puzzlement, she went on:
"Let's see... Lucas, right? He was truly strong. But... yeah. Kyle and Kiril, do your best too. I don't know who will win, but in the finals, avenge Engy, okay?"
