Chapter 410 - Chapter 410 Don’t Provoke Moses

Inside the hotel suite.

Moses sat in front of the desk, placed his phone aside, and opened the Hunter Website, navigating to the bounty section.

As soon as he clicked into the section, Moses noticed the chat box on the side scrolling rapidly with messages, which surprised him slightly.

This was the first time Moses had seen the chat box in the bounty section so lively.

He moved the mouse and clicked on the chat box.

"Hmm?"

After casually glancing at the chat content, Moses found that they were all discussing him.

Seeing words like 'Phantom Troupe' and 'top of the list', Moses quickly understood what was going on and opened the ranking list within the section.

On the most popular active list, his name was prominently listed at the first place, and the reason for being on the list was also marked. His main achievements were the killing of three members of the Phantom Troupe: Shalnark, Phinks, and Nobunaga.

It is precisely because of the fame brought by this list that the [Path of Legend] was able to condense the second emerald green bead.

'I never reported this…'

What puzzled Moses was that he had never reported his accomplishments in capturing Shalnark and the others to the bounty handling agency.

So how did the agency confirm his achievements?

Originally, Moses was prepared to suffer a loss. After all, he hadn't obtained the most definitive evidence, their bodies, so it was difficult to prove that he had killed the three members of the Phantom Troupe.

Moreover, each member of the Phantom Troupe carried a bounty of up to 1.5 billion Jenny. Given the significant amount involved, the relevant agency would certainly not handle it lightly.

Moses looked at his name on the list with a puzzled look on his face.

'That's not right… If my achievements have been confirmed, they should have notified me, right?'

Moses suddenly thought of this and felt even more strange.

Buzz-

Just as Moses was thinking of this, his phone, placed nearby, suddenly started vibrating.

'It comes just I thought of it?'

Moses raised an eyebrow, picked up his phone, and answered the call.

"Hello, is this Mr. Moses?"

As the call connected, a warm and pleasant female voice came through from the other end of the phone.

"Yes."

Moses responded, already guessing the purpose of the call.

"Okay."

The woman politely continued, "Mr. Moses, I'm calling to inform you about something."

"I'm listening."

"Your bounty accomplishments have been reported and confirmed, but due to the large amount of the bounty, the payment will take approximately three business days to process. Please be patient."

"Understood."

Moses realized it was indeed a notification about this matter, so he immediately asked, "I have a question. Who reported my accomplishment of taking down three members of the Phantom Troupe?"

"It's Mr. Kanzai from the Hunter Association."

The woman answered honestly, as it was not information that needed to be kept secret.

However, the woman inevitably feels confused after hearing Moses's question.

After all, the fact that Kanzai from the Zodiacs reported this, yet the person who achieved it was unaware, which was very puzzling.

Despite her curiosity, the woman's duty was to inform Moses to be patient for his bounty payout and not to delve into other matters.

"Kanzai?"

Hearing this, Moses was taken aback, feeling surprised. He then said to the phone, "Got it. That's all."

"Alright, Mr. Moses."

The call ended, and Moses then dialed Kanzai's number.

Moments later, Kanzai answered the phone.

"What's up?"

"About the Phantom Troupe."

Moses spoke concisely.

Kanzai's voice came through the phone:

"Oh, the bounty thing, right? I noticed you hadn't made any moves, I reported it for you when I submitted the commission results. But seriously, aren't you a registered Blacklist Hunter? This is the achievement of taking down three A-Class criminals. Why do you seem so not care?"

"It's indifferent."

"None of your business! Can you focus on the important part?"

"Of course I considered reporting it, but I couldn't take the bodies with me at that time..."

"Hey, hey, are you ignoring my existence?"

Kanzai interrupted Moses and said unhappily, "I'm one of the Zodiacs after all. With my word, why do you need to use a body to prove it? Do you understand the weight of being part of the Zodiacs?"

"Now I know."

After hearing Kanzai's words, Moses couldn't help but appreciate the value of 'status', and then asked: "Zaikan, what conditions must be met to replace a current member of the Zodiacs?"

"???"

Kanzai suddenly fell silent.

After two or three seconds, he asked back: "Why are you asking this question? You... you're not thinking of taking my spot, are you?!"

"Of course not, how could I possibly target you? I'm just asking out of curiosity."

Moses replied seriously.

"Target?!"

On the other end of the phone, Kanzai's mouth twitched, and he said, "You've already considered this 'step'?!"

"It's just a casual remark, don't take it seriously."

Moses smiled slightly, then pressed on: "So, what are the conditions to replace a current member of the Zodiacs?"

"I don't know. Don't ask me. I'm hanging up."

Kanzai quickly said and then hung up the phone.

"That bastard Moses."

He looked down at his phone, whose screen had gone dark, and muttered to himself, "It looks like he'll be able to get 'One Star' soon. This guy... He only got his license this year, damn it, he's a real winner in life!"

Two days later.

Moses suddenly noticed that a third emerald green bead had condensed on the stone tablet of [Path of Legend].

'So fast…'

Moses's eyes showed surprise, thinking that his reputation of hunting down the Phantom Troupe had spread completely.

At the same time.

Kukuroo Mountain, Zoldyck Family's estate.

At the dining table, except for Maha and Zeno, the rest of the Zoldyck Family's members were present.

"Dad, what do you mean by 'don't provoke Moses'?"

Illumi asked calmly, looking at Silva who sat at the head of the table.

However, at this moment, Illumi's inner emotions were not as calm as his appearance suggested.

Killua, who was sitting next to him, lowered his head, as if trying to hide some emotion.

Silva met Illumi's gaze.

"Did I not make myself clear enough?"

"…"
