"Finally, the first year is over. The lessons were so hard, but we all passed." Beatrix said, stretching lazily after waking up.
"That's right. In the second year, the study may be less than first year, but the scores will mostly come from the missions of each person who chooses their own career path." Mania said.
"This semester ends, we need to plan carefully what kind of missions we will do. From what I've asked professors, there are so many missions out there. Some are easy, and some are difficult." Mariel said.
"Let's decide it together later. As for visiting each other's houses, let's start with yours at first, Mariel." Beatrix said.
"Yes, then we'll go to Beatrix house and finally we moved to Mania's house. So, we can get to know everyone's parents too." Mariel suggested.
"That's great. My parents also really want to meet Mariel and Beatrix because I often tell them about your stories." Mania said.
"That's great. Let's pack our luggage. After breakfast, we can leave the dormitory. My parents will be at the school gate soon." Mariel said.
"Ok!" Beatrix and Mania said at the same time.
After they had finished eating breakfast, they dragged their luggage out of the dormitory to go to Mariel's house. When they walked out to the front of the dormitory, they saw Yujin and Raven waiting for them in front of the dormitory earlier.
"My dear friend, would you mind if Raven and I go to your house for a day or two days? After that, we'll go visit Raven's parents later." Yujin asked.
"Anytime, my friend." Mariel immediately replied with a smile.
"My lovely Mariel has to go home for a month. I'm going to be so lonely." a voice said from not far away.
"Senior Jack, just help your parents to take care of your bookstore. You won't be lonely anymore." Mariel said.
"I've already helped, but I haven't seen my lovely Mariel for a while. I'll just be depressed." Senior Jack said with sadness.
"Well… If my parents, me and my friends were shopping at the market, I'll try to find a time to you at the bookstore." Mariel promised.
"Nice! I'll wait for my lovely Mariel at my bookstore every day. Please let me know before you come." Senior Jack promised confidently.
"What about me, Mariel?" another voice also said.
"You're so charming, Mariel." Raven said.
"Being born with a man soul in a woman's body like this. I feel so sad for my friends." Yujin thought.
"You must start to learn how to inherit your father's business. You probably don't have much time to meet me." Mariel said.
"Yeah… I must be bored, not seeing you for month." Jerrick said with a sad face.
"If you have time, come to visit my house but please let me know in advance, ok?" Mariel suggested.
"Ok, I'll go to your house tomorrow. I'll run away from home." Jerrick said with a cheerful smile.
"No! You must work first! If you run away from your house, I won't let you in!" Mariel said.
"Ok, I'll contact you again, my love." Jerrick said.
Everyone dragged their luggage out of the school and found that Deric and Claudia were standing and talking with Principal Hector and Elizabeth.
"Hello, Mom and Dad." Mariel said, hugging her parents tightly. The other friends greeted Deric and Claudia with respect.
"When you have a chance, come to buy something at Jack's stationery store or bookstore. There's a special discount if you bring Mariel with you." Senior Jack.
"That's an interesting offer; we will accept it." Deric and Claudia replied with a smile.
"Why did you accept such an offer so easily?" Mariel asked.
"When I have a chance, I will come to visit Mariel home, to bring my parents to talk to you." Jerrick said.
"Do you have any hidden intentions?" Mariel asked, looking at him with a hint of worry.
"I'm so glad that our daughter is so charming, dear." Claudia said with a smile.
"Which guy will win our daughter's heart? I'm starting to wonder. Lol." Deric said with a loud laugh.
"Never!!!" Mariel refused, causing everyone around her to smile.
"Practicing more, Mariel, Beatrix and Mania. Next year will have more missions than ever before." Hector warned.
"And it's even more dangerous." Elizabeth said.
"We'll practice more, Principal Hector and Vice Elizabeth." Mariel assured.
Deric drove a big truck, Mariel and her friends sat behind the pickup truck and chatted happily. When everyone returned home, they found that Segal had arrived at about the same time. Everyone greeted each other and chatted happily. The atmosphere was filled with a happiness that they hadn't felt in a long time.
After lunch, Deric and Claudia rested in their bedroom, while Mariel and her friends started to randomly draw 3v3 teams and fought fiercely.
"Raven traps are really useful. They're great at blocking the other' close-in attacks." Beatrix praised as Segal almost got her some shot, but he was temporarily pinned down by the magic traps of the bowstring.
"You're not too bad either. Your ice and fire magic are really damaged to them." Raven complimented Beatrix back.
"Watch out!" Mania warned both as she sensed a large wave of attacks coming.
Scorching!!!!
Yujin uses the power of the fire magic sword to attack the opponents without warning. He doesn't have to worry about his body being injured by elemental magics because Mariel is supporting him by healing from behind.
"Chai (Mariel) is really amazing. He used healing spells at the right time and helped us with heavy attacks from the back." Yujin praised his friend.
Mariel was in the backline, looking at the damage that Segal and Yujin had taken, and then she used healing magic to heal the wounds around them, completely curing them. She also helped attack when the opponents were not paying attention to her.
The result of this battle was that Raven, Beatrix, and Mania's team was easily defeated by Mariel, Segal, and Yujin's team in a short period of time.
After that, all 6 people switched teams to find their strengths and weaknesses and kept it as information for future team-up because they would go their separate ways to do their own missions before coming back to the big party members again in the future.
"Well, after testing various teams for 3 hours, I can conclude that any team that has Mariel and Segal in the team will be very strong because their offensive and defensive support are perfect." Beatrix said.
"If in the future all 6 of us can form a team, it would be really great. Segal and Yujin will be the front line of the sword and shield type to defend against the enemy's attacks. Mariel will be the support from the middle line of the attack, looking out for the team's front and back. She can also help heal when they need it. Finally, the back line with me and Beatrix supporting with archery and magic and supporting with Mania's healing and magic buffs for us. This team has almost no weak points." Raven said with sparkling eyes.
"We will definitely become famous party adventure." Mania added with a smile.
"You're all practicing hard, our new generation heroes." Master Kehal's voice came from behind, along with Deric, Claudia, and Midaran.
"Hello, Master Kehal." Segal and Mariel immediately bowed in respect, while the others followed them.
"I've been observing you guys for a while now. Your skills are all extremely perfect. I sincerely admire all of you." Kehal praised so much that Mariel and the others smile shyly.
"It reminds me that when we were teenagers, we would practice on the grass next to our house all the time." Deric said, reminiscing their old memories.
"At that time, we practiced until at night and didn't want to go home." Claudia said.
"That's why I often have to come and take Kehal home for dinner before he exhausted." Midaran teased her husband.
Suddenly, Kehal's eyes looked at them. A murderous aura spread throughout the area, and everyone could feel the immense power emanating from Kehal's body.
"The snacks are over; it's time to serve the main course." Kehal said as he cast his silver shield, a Silver Sword, and prepared them to fight.
"Master Kehal, are you going to fight with us?" Segal asked curiously.
"I will fight you one-on-one, my beloved disciple. Show me how advanced your skills are." Kehal said, pointing his sword at Segal that he was sending a challenge to his disciple.
"Master is so kind, I beg your permission to fight against you." Segal said, holding his sword and shield, ready to fight with all his might.
"I'm so excited to see Brother Segal fight Master Kehal one-on-one after not seeing their fight for years." Mariel said as she led her friends to a corner and sat nearby to watch the fight.
In front of everyone, Segal and Master Kehal were using their magic power to the utmost to prepare for the battle that was about to happen in the next moment.
"Come on, Segal!" Kehal ordered.
"Yes, Master Kehal." Segal said as he charged forward and attacked Master Kehal with his ultimate flame sword.
Clang!!!!!
The sound of swords clashing with shields caused a loud noise to echo throughout the area. Deric, Claudia, and Midaran all stood watching the battle. Mariel could only cheer for her brother and still believed in him
"You can do it, Brother." Mariel encouraged.
