Clang! Clang!
The metal sound of the two swords clashing violently caused a loud noise that shook the covenant room. Mariel still comes to practice with the cloned Mariel to prepare for the big battle that will take place the next day. Even though Elizabeth wanted Mariel to rest for a full day to prepare her body for this mission. However, Mariel chose to come and practice in the middle of the night because there was free room at this time. The more often they practiced, the more Mariel's skills progressed and the cloned of Mariel had to keep praising her.
"You'll have a mission tomorrow and you'll still be practicing hard with me. You'll be tired." the cloned Mariel said.
"I just sleep for a few hours, and I have a full strength. It's nothing." Mariel replied.
"Then let's practice more." the cloned Mariel said as she slammed various elemental sword powers at it. As for Mariel, she defended with precision and countered back, refusing to be at a disadvantage on one side alone.
Applause sounds from behind the two of them*
"Eh? Master Hector!" Mariel said in surprise.
"This is my disciple! You aren't sleep but just keep practice your skills without stopping." Hector praised.
"You praised me too much. I'm just not very sleepy, that's all." Mariel said with a shy expression on her face.
As for the cloned of Mariel, she stood still as if she was thinking about something in her mind.
"It seems that your opponent has something to tell us." Hector said cheerfully.
"You always know what I am thinking. I was just thinking about something." the cloned Mariel said.
"Is there something wrong?" Mariel asked curiously.
"I'm a little worried about you, my dear." the cloned Mariel said worriedly.
"About to invade the 4th school, right?" Hector said as if he knew what the cloned of Mariel was worried about in her mind.
"Yes...I'm afraid...that your magic power may not be enough for this mission." the cloned Mariel said.
"My power isn't strong enough?" Mariel asked, feeling worried.
"Practice is enough, but you still lack some skills and element magic power." the cloned Mariel said.
"If I practice about it tonight, will I be ready for this?" Mariel asked.
"In time...well, maybe...but I'm afraid...your body won't be able to take it." the cloned Mariel said.
"What is it?" Mariel asked.
"Light of Magic." the cloned Mariel said.
"To prevent the ultimate attack from dark magic and take advantage to it." Hector said.
"Yes... because your magic power doesn't have enough to fight against advanced Dark Magicians. Their dark magic powers were very strong. If you didn't have a light magic that could counteract that dark magic, you would easily be defeated." the cloned Mariel said.
"So, if I learn about light magic now, will that be ok?" Mariel asked.
"Your body can't stand it, Mariel." Hector said.
"Because within your body had dark magic that is opposite by light magic. I'm afraid that if these two types of magics are revolving around in your body, it might harm your body and hardly to control them." the cloned of Mariel said worriedly.
"If we don't try, we won't know. Please do it!" Mariel said with confidence, immediately kneeling on the ground.
"If you can't take it, we'll stop." Hector said.
The cloned Mariel, standing in front of Mariel, slowly closed her eyes, then there was a white light that surrounded her body until it shone brightly throughout the covenant room. This power was the magic power of light that some people would have learned about this magic because it would take a long time to practice. They must also have a pure heart and no evil thoughts but what Mariel is facing is not like that because her body already had dark magic power which would cause severe resistance if another type of light magic was practiced.
"Let's begin!" the cloned Mariel said, radiating light magic into the palm of her right hand, then she shot straight towards Mariel's chest.
*Scream*
Mariel screamed loudly in excruciating pain as the light magic slowly seeped into her body all the way to the inside but as soon as it began circulating in her body and colliding with the dark magic power that had been inside her before, these two forces clashed violently within her body, causing blood vessels to bulge all over Mariel's body.
Mariel spat out blood all over the floor, then her body was now experiencing a fierce resistance between light magic and dark magic, causing her skin to swell. White and black veins appear along the body and destroy each other, causing bruises on the arms and torso.
Ah!!!!!
Mariel couldn't stand it any longer until the magic power of light was completely expelled from her body. Mariel nearly fainted on the floor from exhaustion. Her body was so damaged that she could barely stand up. The swollen blood vessels in the body slowly shrank until they returned to normal, but she was still panting loudly and unable to move.
"As expected, these two forces cannot be used together." Hector said.
"Yes, Mariel must choose between training her dark magic and becoming stronger or another way is about eliminating all the dark magic in her own body and start training in light magic to replace it." the cloned Mariel said.
"No way! I won't give up! Do it!" Mariel shouted, causing the other two to stand still.
"In this world, nothing is impossible. I believed that light and dark magic can be used together." Mariel said with confidence.
"You can't do it. Even we must choose one from these two types of magic. Our bodies have limitations. Even the Legendary swordsman Victor, who is your prototype, he chose to use only light magic." Hector said.
"Everything can happen. I will prove it to all of you. Please continue!" Mariel said as she slowly sat up and prepared to receive light magic again.
"Your body will break into pieces. I think that's enough." the cloned Mariel said with concern.
"I beg you." Mariel said pleadingly.
"Then I do whatever you want, but if your body starts to take it no longer. I will stop this immediately." the cloned Mariel said, accelerating the light magic power to prepare to transfer it into Mariel's body again.
Scorching!!!!
Ah!!!! Mariel's voice continued to cry out in pain without stopping.
More than half an hour had passed since the cloned Mariel had been trying hard and gently to transfer light magic energy into Mariel's body but when she starts to see a bad posture, she immediately expels the energy from Mariel's body. When Mariel nodded again, the cloned Mariel began to transfer light magic energy into her body again. They repeat this several times in a row.
"Your body won't be able to bear it. I can feel that your internal organs are all damaged, Mariel!" Hector reminded his favorite disciple with concern.
"We must stop now before you get any more harmful." the cloned Mariel said, preparing to expel the light magic power from Mariel's body immediately.
But.... Suddenly there was opposition from within Mariel. The light magic power that the cloned Mariel had sent into her body was not expelled from her body, but instead was sucked into Mariel's body even more than before.
"What's happened? I can't control my light magic!" The cloned Mariel cried out in utter shock.
"What?" Hector said with a stunned expression.
"The light magic never stopped flowing into Mariel's body. I can't stop it!" The cloned Mariel said.
"Mariel, it's dangerous. Don't force it!" Hector warned.
However, Mariel slowly opened her eyes and began to stand up. As for the light magic power, it continued to be transferred into her body without stopping.
"Mariel, stopped this before your body shatters into pieces." the cloned Mariel warned after seeing the other body's swollen veins moving all over its body.
"No!" Mariel shouted without fear.
Mariel suddenly coughed up blood again. The situation was now at its most critical because within her body the light and dark magic energies were opposing each other to the point where the skin began to split in many places all over her body.
"I can't stand it anymore!" Hector said as he prepared to cast another burst of light magic.
Suddenly, a white light appeared covering Mariel's body, making others unable to see what was happening inside the light.
Mariel enters a state of unconsciousness. Within her body, the white and black Qi veins tried to destroy each other but she chose to keep both of her magic powers and slowly bring them into harmony. Veins bulged all over her body to the point of almost breaking, but she still refused to stop gathering these two forces.
"In this world...nothing...is impossible!" Mariel said in her mind as she tried to regain her composure and made her Qi into normal again.
*Wink*
The light and dark magic energy slowly began to calm down. It began to combine with the main Qi lines in her body that already had fire, water, wind, and ice magic. Although there was still some resistance, but no longer any sign of pain.
Mariel's smile began to appear slightly. She slowly entered inner meditation to let the light and dark magic merge into one. The white and black Qi lines began to stick together and flow throughout her body like other Qi lines.
"In the end, I'm the winner!" Mariel said with a smile.
Hector and the cloned Mariel were still anxiously awaiting the outcome. They couldn't know what was happening within the light that covered Mariel's body.
"I have to finish this before Mariel's body is shattered into pieces!" Hector said as he prepared to shoot light magic at his disciple.
"Hurry up and do it!" the cloned Mariel said.
Boom!
The sound of the explosion was loud enough to cause tremors throughout the covenant room. Hector and the cloned Mariel, almost stood and staggered along the trembling ground.
The smoke scattered throughout the room and gradually faded, until someone stood inside acting like the winner.
Mariel stood still, valiantly, with light and dark magic surrounding her. Now she had succeeded in fusing these two magic powers into her body together. This phenomenon was very shocking to others because even Hector didn't expect that his disciple would be able to accomplish this in such a short period of time.
"This is a miracle!" Hector said with a smile of admiration.
"You really are extraordinary." The cloned Mariel couldn't believe it but praising other.
"I'm ready for the next battle now!" Mariel said boldly with a fearless look in her eyes.
