The smell of urine was overwhelming as Celeste ran through the streets. Her lungs burned with every breath she took, but she gulped it all down greedily. The stench of alcohol infused puke and days old garbage threatening to overwhelm her with every inhale, but Celeste kept pushing. Every foul breath, every step, every leap over garbage meant her cousin was getting further and further away.
