"Crack" "Crack" "Crack"
"GRRRRGHHHH"
"Crack" "Crack" "Crack"
The Hyena's bones began to crack as the gigantic Virids crushed it to death.
Viridis had become entangled over the Hyena's entire body causing the latter to be unable to move even an inch.
"COME ON VIRIDIS"
"Don't let him get away" Ruvan encouraged with some concern, after all a level four beast had quite a powerful strength.
"SSSS" "SSSS" Viridis hissed in sign of understanding.
"Crack" "Crack" "Crack"
"SSSS" "SSSS"
"I understand... I'm going to help you" Murmured Ruvan as he placed a hand on the Hyena's skin.
The Hyena obviously knew about the danger of Ruvan's rays so he fought with all his might to try to escape from Viridis' grip.
"SSSS" "SSSS"
"I know... Remember I'm exhausted" Ruvan cursed.
"Storm Lightninig" Ruvan muttered under his breath as a powerful stream of golden Rays seeped from his hands straight into the Hyena's body.
"Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuaaar" "Juuuuuuuuuuuuuuaaar"
The powerful Hyena moaned in total pain as he felt the rays of Ruvan charring his inside. From his tendons to his organs, every single part of his body was completely destroyed by Ruvan's fearsome lightning bolts.
"JAUUUUUUUR" "JAUUUUUUUR" The life little by little was dying out of the Hyena's body until finally the latter stopped breathing.
"Sigh..."
"Shit... that was really intense" Ruvan muttered as he threw himself to the ground.
"Ssss" Viridis also reduced in size while crawling directly towards Ruvan.
"Well... who would have thought..."
"We killed a level four beast ourselves" Ruvan murmured with a smile as he stroked his little snake's head.
"Ssssss"
It was well known that a level four Spiritual Beast would be considered death for any cultivator within the Mortal Realms. Even Earth Realm cultivators should avoid a direct confrontation with these beasts.
"It was a good fight but without a doubt you are someone quite a cheat, don't you think? A mocking voice coming from the cave entrance made its appearance.
A group of ten silhouettes gradually began to enter the cave. Each of them was wearing the blue robes of Hidden Flower Sect disciples.
"Damn... That beast is much scarier from up close..."
"And that you say so... Just look at the length of his claws"
"Although in that position it gives some laughter" Said one of the disciples while pointing towards the tongue sticking out of the muzzle of the Hyena of the Sands.
Finally the ten disciples stood not far from Ruvan. Each of them sported smug smiles on their faces, after all they had arrived just in time to collect the rewards.
Rewards for which they had done nothing...
"Even though you used quite a few tricks it's still quite impressive achievement..."
"I imagine no one would believe it" Murmured Edmar as he took a couple of turns around the corpse of the Hyena of the Sands.
"Thanks for the compliments" Ruvan replied with a smile as he sat down.
"Hey stop"
"Don't try anything" The disciples raised their weapons as they saw Ruvan take something out of his space ring.
"Hahahaha easy guys... I'm just getting my wine out" Ruvan said with a half smile as he took a couple of swigs to his wine gourd.
"You don't seem surprised to see us here..." Edmar said with a raised eyebrow as he sent his spiritual sense all over the cave in search of some surprise.
'Mmm there are only those two bandits but there is nothing from there'
'This is strange... This guy doesn't seem worried in the slightest...'
"I must admit that it's a surprise but sometimes coincidences happen, don't they?" Ruvan replied with a half smile.
'Hey Edmar! I don't like this guy's attitude'
'I suspect he's up to no good...' Several spiritual transmissions reached Edmar. Each of them contained the concerns of his subordinates.
"Can I ask you a couple of questions?" Edmar said while trying to use a much kinder tone of voice. It was evident that Ruvan was not intimidated by his presence, so he looked for a much more diplomatic way to communicate with Ruvan...
"Sure... I'll answer everything as long as it's something I know"
"Did you have anything to do with the disappearance of Gino and his men?"
"Affirmative."
"..." Everyone.
"Are you not going to deny it?" One of the disciples asked with an incredulous look. They never expected such a relaxed confirmation from him.
"Why should I deny it?" Ruvan said while alluding to the current unfortunate situation. His spiritual energy had been almost completely exhausted while his body was too injured to be able to face a combat.
Not to mention that he was outnumbered ten to one.
"What did you do with them? Where are they?" Asked one of the women in the group. She was one of Gino's lovers within the gang. This was the real reason why she had decided to come on this punitive expedition.
"And then what else was I going to do? Kill them, of course," Ruvan responded as if it were the most logical thing in the world.
"YOU FUCKING BASTARD"
"I'll KILL YOU" The girl screamed furiously but just before she launched herself to attack Ruvan, she was stopped by her companions who were looking for a way to console her.
Most of the gang was already expecting that result, so no one made more drama besides the girl...
"Any other questions?"Ruvan asked with a mocking smile.
"Sigh... What did you do with their bodies?" Edmar asked in a low but cold voice. Even though he already knew, it he was still upset.
He and Gino had founded their gang together. From the beginning both supported each other to defeat all those who opposed them, over the years both finally managed to dominate the District where they lived.
"If you want to bury them forget it... They were all already digested by the stomachs of my beast" Ruvan said while stroking Viridis' little head.
"Ssssss"
"YOU FUCKING BASTARD"
"I had initially planned to cripple your cultivation and hand you over to Elder Clayton, but after this I'm afraid that no one in the gang would forgive me if I do that"
"Edmar~"
'Besides, someone needs to console Gino's women...' Edmar thought as he took a look at the girl who was sobbing in the arms of her companions.
"Edmar" The disciples watched with admiration as their leader was willing to let go of a lot of benefits to avenge his comrades.
"That's too beautiful Edmar~" Ruvan said in a sarcastic voice which attracted ten pairs of hateful looks…
"Before I kill you, I'm going to make sure you suffer like you've never suffered before"
"I want my turn too."
"X2"
"X3"
"Hahahaha for sure. Everyone will have their chance to hurt this bastard..." Edmar and his group were just words while Ruvan just silently listened to them…
"Hey idiots... Are you done yet?"
"Ah? Do you want to suffer so badly, bastard?" One of the disciples asked with his eyebrow raised upon seeing Ruvan's disrespectful attitude.
"Did you really think that it was me who was in danger? You guys have to be real idiots if you think that's how it was..." Ruvan said with a smile as he discharged a small electric current on a black stone that was lying on the ground.
"OH SHIT..."
"RUN! There's a damn Matrix here"
"Too late to run away guys hahaha"
"KRKRKRKRKRKR"
