Sea of mist.
In the middle of the vast sea of mist, a small but luxurious spiritual sailboat was advancing at full speed through the clouds. This ship was designed to move through the skies thanks to the consumption of High-Grade spiritual stones.
Although it was undoubtedly a fairly comfortable and safe alternative to traveling through the always dangerous seas, its cost was something that few cultivators could afford, however at this moment the sailboat was advancing at full speed without caring in the least about the expense of crystals.
A tan-skinned woman emerged from the pilot's cabin and walked through a hallway before reaching the door of one of the sailboat's rooms. This was the door to the main room of the luxurious sailboat.
"Knock" The woman hesitated for a few moments but finally decided to knock on the door.
"Come in" A melodious voice authorized their entry.
"My lady. We have just passed the archipelago of the thousand islands."
"If everything continues on course we will be reaching the Continent of Marxus in five days" The woman said as she addressed a woman who was completely covered by a luxurious silk robe. A veil covered almost her entire face revealing a pair of beautiful green eyes.
"Understood. Good job Natia" The woman said.
'I wonder what Marxus has in store for us' The woman thought to herself as she stood up from her stool. She walked a few steps until finally reaching the window of her room where the distant view of islands was within her reach.
The girl named Natia observed her lady's actions for a few moments before finally leaving the room.
'In all my years under the lady's service I have never seen her so thoughtful and anxious,' Natia thought to herself as she returned to the cockpit.

"This bastard had a space ring."
"Shit, I got to be the poorest bastard of the group of bandits."
"Hahahahahaha" The soldiers were having fun and joking as they looted the bodies of the deceased bandits. The atmosphere was quite pleasant on the way despite the dozens of mutilated bodies on the ground. They were in the middle of a terrifying scene but these men seemed to care little.
"Lira! Inform Xin and the rest that they can come closer" Ruvan ordered as he began to walk in the direction of the mother and daughter.
"Are you both okay?" Ruvan asked the mother and daughter duo who were hugging each other as tightly as they could while their bodies trembled. It was evident that the experience a few moments ago had been too traumatic for both of them.
"Sniff" "Sniff" "Yes sir! Thank you very much for saving our lives… Especially my daughter's" Said the mother as she bowed respectfully in front of Ruvan.
The mother was a mortal woman of approximately thirty to forty years old. Although she was not someone who could be considered young, her body exuded a rather attractive mature aura. Her curves were quite pleasing to the eye, especially that pair of huge breasts that seemed to burst at any moment. Her butt was also quite big.
The desire to touch that huge butt invaded Ruvan for a few moments before he forced himself to control himself after all, he was not that kind of despicable person or at least he always pretended not to be.
"You don't have to worry."
"The important thing is that both of you are fine" Ruvan said with a kind smile as he took out a couple of low-grade healing pills. Both of them had minor injuries so one of these pills would be enough to deal with their injuries.
"Here. This will help them heal their wounds" Ruvan said with a kind smile. Although the woman wanted to refuse, at Ruvan's insistence she ended up accepting after all it would be a discourteous act in front of the man who had just saved their lives.
"Wow mom! The wound on my neck has already healed" The little girl said with emotion in her eyes. It was evident that this was all new to her. Ruvan smiled as he cradled the girl's head while chatting a little with the mother trying to find out her situation.
"And you were part of that merchant caravan?" Ruvan asked curiously as he watched how Lira was looking through the merchandise in search of something valuable.
"No sir…The caravan manager offered to take me and my daughter to the Yellow City" The mother said with a sad expression.
'Mmmm, no wonder that bastard had such good intentions.'
'He most likely wanted to take advantage of this mature beauty during the trip. I'm sorry for you old man' Ruvan smile to himself as he cast a couple of glances at the merchant's riddled body. It was evident from the look on his face that he had many regrets and not eating this woman was surely one of them.
"May I know why you are traveling to the Yellow City?" Ruvan asked curiously as he returned his focus to the woman in front of him.
"Our village was completely devastated by bandits last winter. They even sowed salt in the fields so that they would not produce anything again" The woman said with a pitiful expression as she narrated a little of the sad events of her life.
"Since the destruction of our village we have been forced to flee from city to city until a few months ago we heard that in the Yellow City they were offering shelter and work to those displaced by the war" The woman said while wiping away some of her tears.
"And what happens to your husband? Why don't you accompany them? Ruvan asked, although he had an idea, it was best to clear up any doubts.
"My husband died five years ago as a result of a looting… Since then it has only been my daughter and I" said the woman with a bitter smile, without a doubt she had suffered a rather tragic fate.
It had not been an easy journey for them. On many occasions, many men had tried to abuse her and her daughter. Whether by luck or by fate they had managed to find some kind people who provided them with food and shelter for some short periods of time while they travelled.
"Hmm, I see… If you both like, you can travel with us, after all, our final destination is the Yellow City," Ruvan said with a smile, causing the mother to readily accept. After all, traveling alone through this forest was inviting catastrophe. .
'Right now is our best option... Even if I have to sacrifice this old body of mine' The woman thought as she remembered through her bitter experiences that there was no free lunch in this world. Many times people she had considered gentle and kind had shown their true colors, leaving psychological scars that were difficult to overcome.
After a brief conversation the group quickly got going after all they had a schedule that had to be met.
