Eighty- three. Mr Silas Grams testament

The black Rolls Royce phantom pulled up to a halt in front of the Alpha Realm. The man seated at the driver's seat alighted quickly and rushed over to the passenger's seat to open the car door. Once it was opened, the person seated at the passenger's place stepped down and the door was closed.

Ezekiel looked at the surrounding of the organization he had presided for some years now and sucked in a deep breath. He had to protect it. No matter what!

"Boss", Louis began. "Kim has brought Mr Silas Grams to the Realm. He's in the interrogation room".

Ezekiel clenched his teeth a little hard. "Ok", was all he said and began walking towards the Realm's entrance while leaving Louis to catch up.

Milky and Suga were already waiting for him at the room which was attached to the interrogation room. He walked in and they all bowed in respect.

Ezekiel raised his eyes and caught sight of the man who was sitting behind the desk in the interrogation room. He was quite old with grey hair all over. His face looked as though time had taken quite toll on him. He didn't look much but Ezekiel saw him as a treasure. One that held the pieces he has been looking for all these years.

Kim entered the interrogation room and sat down opposite the man. His face looked grim as this was an important agenda. He had to find out who Monalissa really was. With his eyes, Kim scanned the man before him. The man didn't seem to be perturbed about anything, looking all relaxed which made Kim give him a little respect. He was quite old too.

"Mr Silas", Kim began earning a look from the Mr Silas. However, Kim didn't mind that and went on to ask his questions.

"This", he said and passed a picture to him. "Do you know this person?", he asked.

Mr Silas finally gave a reaction. His grey mustache quivered trembled when he saw the person in the picture that was passed to him. The little girl.... That was the little girl that he had found. The little girl he had saved. The little girl that he thought he had forgotten but this picture seemed to cure him of the amnesia he thought he had.

"The little girl in that picture, do you know her?", Kim asked again. The little girl was Lily. His Boss had asked him to use this picture as he wanted to get a confirmation of something.

"I...", Mr Silas said while hesitating.

"You shouldn't try anything out of the ordinary Mr Silas. You have to say everything that is the truth", Kim warned.

"I don't need you warning me to say the truth. That's not even enough to pay for what I have done to her", he said.

Kim looked at the big screen that demarcated the room from that in which his Boss was seated in. He couldn't see the latter's expression but he could feel that he was a little excited. Finally, he was going to know where his childhood sweetheart was.

"It all happened...that night, while I was at the Ginn river fishing", Mr Silas said.

This statement earned a reaction from Ezekiel who was seated on the other side of the screen. Ginn river...that was the place that was closest to Tiare grounds, where he always played with Lily. She suddenly went missing after that evening they had played together. It was quite heartbreaking when he learnt of her missing. He sat up in the seat he was sitting on.

"Her unconscious body was all I saw floating on the surface of the water", the man said and swallowed. He shut his eyes as he was going to say the next part of the story.

"I didn't know her name, or anything about her. She was tied with ropes and seemed to have escaped those who captured her. I was going to put her into my boat when some men attacked my boat with their weapons. They asked that I hand over the girl to them...but I refused and bolted with the girl in my arms. She looked as though life was leaving her", the man said, gave a slight pause and then continued. "Luckily, I outran them. And finally arrived at a place that looked like a good shelter. A place where I wish I had never brought her to. However it was the place that could protect her from whoever was chasing her and from her abductors", the man explained.

"Which place was it?", Kim asked.

"Winter walls", the man said and sighed. "I come once every year to see her and I bring her gifts. I can't believe that the place is no longer there. A factory now resides there", a sober expression marred his face, and tears brimmed the edges of his eyes. "She loved a very rare flower, calling it Zelissa, though I know that no flower had such name at all", the man said. "The flower was an iris, but it seemed to have much meaning to her".

Ezekiel went pale the moment the man mentioned Winter walls and Zelissa. Lily was brought to Winter walls. Zelissa was the flower they shared. Our flower, was what she had said.

Inorder to clear every other doubt that was sailing in his mind, he signalled Kim to ask another question.

"But Mr Silas, didn't she say anything about who she was? Like where she came from? Her identity and whatnot", Kim asked. He was taking the questions strategically as he didn't want to flop.

"No. She never talked about it. Even her name, was given to her by the woman that raised her. However, my heart was in shambles when I learnt that she was gone. Both her and Winter walls", the man said choking on his tears.

"What was her name? The name that was given to her at Winter walls?", Kim asked.

"Monalissa. The name she was given was Monalissa Walls", Mr Silas replied.
