Seventy-four. Daya
The Klein colored Ferrari halted in front of the airport. Elijah looked at Elena. "It's time to go",he said.
Elena looked at him and smiled. "Yes Eli. I will be back in a week. I will get them on our side".
Elijah looked at her and smile
d. "Do well and come back. I will gift you something", he said.
Elena nodded and leaned forward placing her lips on his, in a warm kiss. It was light and gentle like the fleeting touch of a feather on the surface of the lake, sending ripples down to the depths of the water. Thr done, she opened the car door and stepped out. Alvin got down to help her with her luggages. He looked at her and said, "Be careful".
Elena gave him a side smile and took the box from him. "I will".
That said, she stepped away from the car and bade them bye before walking into the airport.
"Where do we go from here Boss?", Alvin asked
"Let's go to Delmar Hotels", he said. He had a meeting with Arianna tonight. The latter has said that she had something to show him.
Alvin complied and set the car I'm motion, veering towards the said route.
Elena walked through the halls of the airport going to the waiting line. She was already alone as always, because this was undercover. She wasn't scared of anything happening as their plan was very discreet.
She stood at the waiting line, while the announcer kept screaming out the names of the departing flights. She busied herself with her phone while waiting for her flight to be called.
After sometime, she looked up and was alarmed when she didn't see her box again. She looked around and saw someone carrying it away. She gave a start and stood immediately walking towards the person.
"Hey", she said grabbing the person's arm.
The person turned around and looked at her. "Yes?"
"That's my luggage or are you mistaking?", Elena asked her face twisted in a frown.
"Ah... really? Gosh I was also looking for mine too. What shitty situation is this?", the person asked feeling embarrassed.
"Ok. Then give me the box. Go find yours", Elena said, impatience sweeping in.
"I'm really sorry for the trouble", the person said and handed the box to Elena. Elena eyed him and took the box from him. Turning on her heels, she veered towards the waiting line but suddenly bumped into someone.
"Sorry Miss", the person apologized and continued walking away. Elena got pissed. Accidents keep happening. What's the meaning of all this?!
She walked to the waiting line and stood. She cursed the announcer in her heart for delaying the whole thing. Finally the announcer's voice came, saying that a particular flight is being delayed due to various issues.
Elena recognized the flight the announcer had mentioned as her flight and was pissed further. She didn't bother wondering whether it was their enemies that was working against them because they didn't realize know what was going on. Not one knew except her and Elijah.
She reached for her pocket and took out her phone. She put her finger on the finger print sensor but the thing didn't work. Five times. Then she decided to use her code. But that didn't work either. At that moment, she knew that she was done for. Without any thought, she rushed to the restroom and continued trying her code. She kicked the wall severally and tried opening her phone again. However, it didn't work. Just then, she felt her face covered and immediately, she blacked out.
Suga looked at her and then at Camille. "It's your call now, Mille", he said.
"Yeah. Wish me luck", she said with a nervous smile.
"Yeah. Good luck", he said. "Make good use of what Lisa said", he reminded.
"Yeah. I will. The girl is a strategist".
After she said that, she put on a pair of sunglasses and walked out, towards the waiting line.
At that moment, the announcer declared Elena's flight ready to go, and Camille walked to the tarmac and soon boarded the flight and was off to Cee country.
Elijah got to Delmar Hotels in no time. Arianna was already waiting for him there. This time, they booked a different room.
Elijah walked to the room and opened it with the key card he had come with. Alvin went in with him.
Arianna was sitted on the couch with her legs crossed. She was sipping from a glass enclosed a little amount of rich red wine. Her demeanor at the moment was so different from the one she had the last time she came here. Her plan this time was very precise and well planned. There would be no loopholes this time.
There was someone else in the room. The person was dressed in shabby clothes but it didn't matter as this would benefit them. Elijah spared the person a glance and then looked at Arianna.
"Who's this?", he asked.
"This is Daya. A maid from the Alpha gardens", Arianna introduced.
Elijah arched a brow. "You're really prepared this time", he said.
"Yeah. I can't let myself go through something so humiliating again", Arianna said her face filled with annoyance.
"That's nice to hear", Elijah said. "So", he continued, "when will she arrive at my place?"
"At midnight", Arianna said her face smirking. Finally, that girl is going to be done for good.
