Seventy-two. The only person she had....

Monalissa nodded at what her master had said and prepared her mind for the task ahead. As if something came to her mind, she looked at him.

"Master", she called. She wanted to speak to him about something.

Ezekiel looked at her and his icy blue orbs met with her hazel brown ones. "What's that Walker?", he asked in that voice that was particular to him.

"It's about Luke. The reason he's staying at the factory", she said.

Ezekiel's face scowled up. Was this about him? Was that really important to her? She has told him about this before but he declined. He didn't want to review the the case. The bastard betrayed him and was serving his term at the factory.

"Master, am not saying that you passed wrong judgement on him but, could you tell me what had happened at that time?"

Ezekiel sighed and massaged his throbbing temples. Monalissa noticed his distraught and stood immediately. She rushed to his side and picked up what he was doing, and began doing it in a more gentle manner.

Ezekiel felt his body go still the moment he felt her soft fingers on his temples. Gentle and soothing, that was the feeling it gave. He was going to compliment her fingers by calling them fingers of a goddess but he held back. He didn't want to credit her. At least not yet.

"Luke betrayed my trust in him. I punished him severely but I don't think that was enough", he paused as if allowing the words to sink into Monalissa's mind. Then he continued.

"He sold information to our enemy organization".

" The soul-sucking org?", Monalissa asked.

"Not them. The Blue-eyed dragon Corp".

"What happened after that?", she asked.

"I sent the organization to extinction", Ezekiel replied. Her fingers seemed to have magic as he was spellbound by them, answering her questions without even complaining.

"No wonder", Monalissa muttered. Ezekiel heard what she said thanks to his skilled hearing that he had honed over the years.

"What do you mean?"he asked.

"The Blue-eyed dragon Corp partnered with us once but we cut them off after they tried disrespecting out girls. The next time we heard of them was that they were attacked and cleared from the earth", she explained.

" Yeah. They deserved it".

Monalissa felt a pang in her heart when he said that. Her family... Did they really deserve it? Their death, did they really deserve it? She heaved a sigh and continued what she was doing.

"So, what happened after then master?"

"It was all thanks to Rex that we got them good".

Rex, she said in her mind. She had seen him at the Tech Space during their tour. He seemed friendly but she didn't seem to feel it. It was like air... That was what his friendliness felt like to her. She had to talk to Luke.

"Master, when will I return to the factory?", she asked.

Ezekiel looked at her. "You don't like it at the gardens?"

She gave an awkward smile. "That's not true master. I really love the gardens. It's just... it doesn't really fit me. I don't think that's my place", she said. Well, it didn't matter whether it was her place or not. She just wanted to meet with Luke so that they could talk about what had happened then. At the very least, this was her own way of protecting her master. She didn't want something tragic to happen. If another leak is given to the enemy, perhaps Alpha Realm might not be able to shine that bright anymore.

Ezekiel dragged her to sit on his laps and made her face him. "Walker, you're mine. Whatever suits me, suits you. If I say the gardens is your place, then it is. You're not leaving till I say so", Ezekiel said his tone screaming finality.

Monalissa blinked severally at Ezekiel's words. Her heart went through different palpitations and she clutched her skirt tightly. She was in love with this man. At this point, it didn't seem so wrong but what of in the future? What if he suddenly decides to kill her? Or what if he casts her at the side after everything? She had nothing left. Probably the only person she had was...him. Her master.

Ezekiel saw Monalissa's eyes fill up with tears. Why was she crying? He didn't even yell at her. "Walker,, don't you dare cry. If you do, I will give you a reason to".

The moment he finished saying these words, she burst out in tears while throwing her arms round his neck in a hug.

Ezekiel was now alarmed and held her. He was scared that maybe she was feeling pain at the place where she was operated on.

"Walker, what's wrong?"

"Master, please don't throw me away. If in the future, you decide to not want me as your slave, just kill me. Don't throw me away. My family is gone and now...I have no one. No one except you", she sobbed.

Ezekiel swallowed. Yeah. She had no one. He made sure of that. He suddenly felt a pang in his heart. What was that? Pity? Guilt? He sighed and wrapped his arms round her waist.

"You have master's word. I won't throw you away".

Monalissa still held unto him, not letting go. She wanted to hold him like this. Ezekiel smiled slightly and let her do what she wanted.

At that moment, a knock came on the door. It was Kim. Ezekiel felt Monalissa's body go still. She tried to move but he held her down.

"Stay still Walker". Monalissa was obedient and didn't move again.

"Come in", Ezekiel said.

Kim walked in. He would be a liar if he said that he wasn't shocked at the sight in front of him. Miss Walls sitted on his Boss's legs and his Boss seemed to be enjoying it. What was the color of the sky these days?

"Boss", he greeted with a bow.

"What's the matter?",he asked.

"Elena is leaving for Cee country", he stated. Elena. Who didn't know who that woman was? She was Neon's right hand person alongside Alvin. Those two were quite popular in the underworld.

"For what reason?"

"She wants to meet with the Cee president's daughter, Hera Lakewoods", he stated.

At the mention of Lakewoods, Monalissa felt her head buzz and she blacked out. Ezekiel felt the sudden change in her body.

"Walker?", he called. However there was no response.

"Walker?", he called and pulled her from him only to find her limp. Ezekiel paled in that instant. Kim was also shocked. What had happened?

"Kiim, get the Realm's doctor here this instant!", his voice rang out.

Kim rushed out immediately. Ezekiel carried her and placed her on the couch, kneeling beside her.

"Walker, you're not leaving me. You better not die!", he said as if giving an order.
